Guest Rico_89
If you have tried to use a wired headset with your Vowney V5 and found that it doesn't sound right and the microphone button doesn't work, then you'll need a TRRS adaptor. The TRRS adaptor will reverse the relevant pins so you'll be able to use headsets that are not fully compatible. Some Nokia, Sony Ericsson, and Samsungs also require this cable so maybe a headset from one of those manufacturers will be compatible with out the need for an adaptor, but you'll have to check that out before you purchase. Honestly it's easier to just buy an adaptor so you can use any headset with your V5. Here's an example of a TRRS adaptor cable: http://www.amazon.co...2&keywords=trrs . You might be able to find it cheaper somewhere else, just make sure you're not buying a 2.5 to 3.5mm adaptor. Alternatively you could buy a headset that comes with the relevant adaptor; I purchased a TurtleBeach M5 headset and you get a gold TRRS adaptor cable inside the box. : http://www.amazon.co...urtle beach m5 and they sound great. Hope this helps. Edited July 18, 2013 by Rico_89
