I've been running superslim for a few weeks now and it's great:

You could also try these:

http://www.modaco.com/topic/355090-rom-gb-atomicmod-any-baseband-gbics/

I was on stock+ ICS and did the following to get to superslim GB:

- downgraded to old baseband, GB bootloader (inherently unlocked) and CWM 5 using this: http://www.modaco.com/topic/361310-downgrade-upgrade-from-recovery/

- installed superslim ROM from above making sure to do all wipes/formats in CWM

That was it.

I did afterwards install a version of CWM 6 later on because I preferred it to the CWM 5 above.

The downgrade to the old baseband didn't cause me any problems to date.
