Guest MetalDroid
There was a post on the Orange list about not being able to install software onto the SPV unless it is Orange branded software? Is this the case? If so, that single reason would prevent me from getting one... Try Viper4Droid, although there may be distortion.
Guest razor74
I use CM10.2 because it is faster and smoother and camera has chroma noise reduction. Today i tryied again CM11 (latest build). But it is unacceptable to load widgets after over 2 minutes from finishing boot(especially hd widgets and any audio player widgets). And zRam activated shurelly dont help in this matter. On CM10.2 widgets load much faster - 10-15 secconds. One positive point of this rom is - aparently was improved video playback on youtube. Videos play smooth without frame skip. Guest gigis
hi. i don't know if this is confusion, but sometimes i get a few reboots when i`m outside. that means on mobile data. it doesn't do it when i`m at home on wifi. again, maybe it's a confusion, but it only happened when i got out (not every time). Guest Vladimiros92
Hey, just a quick word, I've been using this rom for a month now and its awesome! Coming from CM 10.2 (Android 4.3), this Rom is miles ahead!!! =>Phone runs way smoother now, and I can actually browse the internet, run apps and navigate like a boss =>Camera runs ok now! (didn't on CM 10.2) hurrayyyyyyyyy! =>Somewhat better battery life =>No lags or freezes, feels like a new phone! Haven't found any major bugs yet, just the fact that I can't get the Wi-fi hotspot function to work (others just can't find my network) GREAT JOB! keep it up!!! Guest KonstaT
The inclusion of the fix of the Voip calls seem to be asked twice, haha. We will have to wait a little longer. Not sure if it was you or someone else but code review is for that purpose only. It's not for whining about unrelated things... For VoIP issues, someone could try making these changes to /system/etc/audio_policy.conf and report back if makes any difference. I haven't heard anyone complain about that in my builds but it still doesn't mean it couldn't be broken as I don't use VoIP myself. https://github.com/TheWhisp/android_device_samsung_msm7x27a-common/commit/7a4641c28931e034e01ebc6cc56576e819bc94c3

But i have the same problem. Very slow widgets loading. Maybe you can find a solution for this problem. In those 3- 4 minutes when widgets loading , i cannot use Rocket player or Apollo player, i cannot acces HD widgets. In other ways this rom is acceptable, but still - 4.3.1 perform better. After this, I can start using the phone normally. So yes, the boot process is a little bit slow, but I only restart my phone when updating the ROM. I never switch it off. I still do, but I will need a fresh install though. I have had this too, only on this rom. I have also noticed SMS are slow or don't come through but calls seem fine. A reboot seems to fix but too late if you miss an important text. Only way of knowing if there is no service is by looking on the lock screen as signal bars show up fine in the notification bar.
