Yeah just wanted to improve the performance on KitKat (cm11) and going to make some inprovments.

                                          MAKE A CWM BACKUP

(this will work with any android version)

1. V6 Supercharger

I think a lot of people here knows it, but for those who don't - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=991276

So lets go!

Don't ask why we are not installing the starter kit as we don't need it on cm11, already tested it.

1.Download this sh.pdf file http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2631347&d=1394842911

you can use firefox to download it or just Click "Click for qr Code" and download a qr scanner from gplay and scan it, open the url and it will download : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=51069066#post51069066 you need the V6_SuperCharger_for_Android-Update9_RC13-For_Your_Lag_QF.sh.pdf. and put it at your phone.

2.Download script manager from gplay : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=os.tools.scriptmanager

Open it and check the "browse as root" box and hit ok. Find the supercharger script and open it , then when the windows pops up check the su, or superuser icon, then run it. The script will let you choose options, because theres a ton scripts there. So you have to have knowledge.

3.Reboot and everythings done.

NEXT:

EDIT : The latest cm 11 nightly Seems to fix the force closing!

Changing the kitkats runtime Note :With ART runtime some apps can behave different like fc, or just not work. ( Thanks to George109 )

I don't know if it realy makes a difference but test, i think it does.

1.Go to settings>developer options>Select Runtime>use ART

Ignore the warning that cm 11 doesn't support it and its experimental : i already have tested it and everythings good. Then restart, the boot can take about 5 mins like it was for me. Thats it.

(this will work with any android version)

I should warn you that ART does not work with several apps, and causes bugs. If some of your apps crash for no reason then switch back to Dalvik :)

Useful list though, thanks :)

Art uses more ram, so I wouldn't recommend it on the G300.

With my Samsung, I could use ART, as I just received the KitKat OTA update, but unfortunately Samsung have decided to disable the ART option in dev options... :(

WHY Samsung, WHY??? :P

Wow, you got one too! ;)

Tripped Knox Yet?

Yeah, I'm running 4.3 rooted. Got xposed, wanam, new kernel etc.

I have Philz too so I'm able to switch roms.

Good - I need a new battery from the service centre, and then im going to - Have you considered developing for it? There is so much out there for the S4 in terms of development guides etc. The only bad thing is that it is an expensive device to test on!

Probably not, the S4 pretty much has every rom you need. I don't really see the point. Everything is supported officially, every kernel you'd ever want is available, so I think I'll just be a user rather than a developer B):)

Looked at the ram usage, doesn't seem to use more ram, just like 20 % faster app opening and everythings smoother, but some apps don't work like , at the end of antutu benchmark it crashes.

Can anybody test this?On cm 11 kk.  http://www.modaco.com/topic/365705-tweak-supercharge-the-g300/ Download the cm version.

OK working

Samsung disabled it, because your s4 would be so fast, that it would explode. LoL, i am stuck with my g300 until next year, and now s3 is super cheap in my country F%*$

The thing was, when I had my G300 I pushed it so hard (I was the only person nutty enough sick of the poor performance to put the CPU Max and Min on 1113 and set the governer to performance! lol) I was worried that it was going to explode! :D

Bad luck that you are stuck with your G300 until next year. At least you can use custom ROMs without Huawei knowing, unlike Samsung, with well, Samsung knowing! :P

And if they know? Whats going to happen ? Ultra Hard lock everything so you can't modify ? :D Sorry, i don't get the point :D

And can't you use custom roms? Don't know anything about the s4 besides that it would take 1000000 g300's to equal the performance of s4 :D

Samsung have a thing called Knox, so if you modify the phone in any way at all, from rooting to a recovery it displays a triangle when it starts up (which you can remove), and blows an e-fuse (a more advanced fuse) that cannot be reset or removed. This means they can tell you have been messing around, and seeing the flag or name for this is called:

KNOX Warranty Void
and it is set to 1 when it is set, it almost definitely voids your warranty...

It's an efuse, hardware related, can't be reverted unfortunately. If you don't care about your warranty then it's fine :p

Enyoying kitkat on my g300, with some tweaks and art runtime works perfect, left gb behind. The next android version is coming july, 2014, it's name will start with  L, I guess Lollipop.
