That's why I have switched to Lineage based on Android 6.0.1 and finally all apps that I needed work here, but I would switch to MIUI if it was based on any Android 5.1+. As my ISP won't update my router, and using a Coolpad rom that will never get patched, the only solution was to use a vpn to encrypt the internet connection between android phone and wifi router. (micro-sd card as internal storage, random restarts, calls drops, VPN problems, GPS etc) Edit, might give it a go. Do you still have the soundpatch you could upload? Just dualsim and 3G for 2nd card made problems for 3G network when received MMS on 1st card, but then using Airplane mode for a moment solved it. Rather no random rebots until it's overloaded by my >650 installed apps, but my new phone (Le Pro 3 Elite x722 on Snapdragon 820) gets short freezes with so many apps, too - it needs cleanup, too. In my case, I needed at least Android 6 as a requirement for apps that I use and they work on Lineage great, as expected, but they couldn't work on 4.2 and 4.4.
