Guest imrahx Posted October 6, 2014 Report Share Posted October 6, 2014 I have this stock rom: HUAWEI G300 firmware(U8815-1,Android 4.0,V100R001C02B961,Vodafone) And it's very laggy, music stops if it loses coverage, apps crashes for no reasons, etc... Follow the huaweig300.com tutorial to root, unlock the baseband and install CWM. (Normally this method of unlocking the bootloader is NOT recommended but in this case it's just temporary if we subsequently install the GB baseband/bootloader). http://www.modaco.com/topic/357243-explained-like-youre-5-install-custom-roms-from-scratch-install-the-official-ics-update-root-more/ Install a later version of CWM if you like: http://www.modaco.com/topic/359191-recovery-cwm-clockworkmod-recovery-v6045-cm-last-updated-2112/ Install the GB baseband/bootloader: http://www.modaco.com/topic/361310-downgrade-upgrade-from-recovery/ Install GBX: http://www.modaco.com/topic/368846-romgb-b895-gbxtreme-rom-%E2%9C%B029032014%E2%9C%B0-multibaseband/ Make sure to do the recommended wipes/formats when installing the ROM. Guest dalyer Posted October 7, 2014 Report Share Posted October 7, 2014 Unfortunately some apps are not compatible with GB. What apps do you need and are there GB compatible alternatives?
