China Phone Discussion [Part 2]

Recommended Posts

I have a budget of USD 200 for a new phone.

Must have:

5.5 " screen

LTE with all UK frequencies  800, 1800, 2100, 2600

Any ideas, folks.

No to crottia:

according to their facebook they are out of stock and will be re-stocking soon hence why there's no shipping options at the minute.

I think I'm going to wait for the storm to release before pulling the trigger

I would never get another xiaomi ever again! Xiaomi / miui do not release upto date android versions, they don't like fixing bugs on phones which they class to be "old". I've got the Redmi 1 & it's been over a year since a Bluetooth hands free bug was reported and we're still waiting for it to be fixed!

Hi,

Is the Xiaomi RedMi Note 2 still a good phone? I was looking at the Prime version which has slightly better CPU and more memory.

Thanks.

Consider the LeTV X600

Hi, not really. I've got a xiaomi Redmi 1 at the moment which is dual sim but I've never used it.

Lenovo k3 note is better option.

Not for me, as I'm on O2 (uk) & it doesn't have the frequency for O2 4g. So it's no good for me. Thanks tho.

I think for chinese phones in general - EE & Three are the two network providers that cover the necessary bands in the UK.
