Well not really.

I compared my su6 to new phones that are coming out this year and i saw that i cant have a budget phone. Low specs, no upgrades, crap warranty, no smoothness, no tweaks from phone brand..

But this is my opinion [emoji14]

In a year's time ur s7 will be a pile of shite too when compared to the new phones lol

Not really. A friend of mine has an s4 and an s5 and they are 283737383 times better than su6. There's something called DECENT and STABLES ROMs with alot of tweaks :)

Had the s3 and s4 and the su6 is better then them both IMO. Like the s4 was much better than the s3 and the s5 compared the s4 and as will the s8 vs the s7

Don't give a monkey's about ROMs when just comparing phone to phone.

Imo you are wrong. S4 and s5 are alot more smooth than su6. Su6 has alot of problems, zero smoothness etc. Both with stock rom.

One of the many problems with Samsung phones is the materials they use - PRETENDING to use metal is not the same as using ACTUAL METAL. The chrome plating peeling and flaking off the phones plastic parts feigning a "metal" pretense, looks horrendous, and speaks volumes about how little they care of the longevity of their devices.

For the price isn't  a bad phone!

Not great but average...

100euros for an octacore + 2gb Ram + FHD screen you can't get better.

Not a S7 or iphone 6 rival of course lol

If you bought a new phone so you wouldn't have to waste your time with su6, why are you still here? You're still wasting your time, and now you're also waisting our time, since we get notifications for your pointless posts...

Back to the phone, let's see if they make good deals for their clients. Right now it's too expensive for a Vodafone phone, and it costs as much as the oneplus 3...

@BlueMoonRising chill, maybe one day you will have a decent phone emoji14.png

Still no reason to believe that you even have a better phone. PS. I have an iPhone 8

I have no intention of changing my SU6. The question is can the kernel be extracted from the SU7/SP7 running MM, which can then be used to build CM13 on the SU6?

Lol

Opa se quisesse um s7 comprava-o mas como o ultra chega e sobra para o que quero não vale a pena!

É a mesma merda que comprar um Ferrari para andar no pinhal, dinheiro mal empregue ;-)

I wouldn't expect anyone to be able to port the Smart Ultra 7's code to the Smart Ultra 6. Why? Because the Smart Ultra 7 is made by Alcatel, and not ZTE as with the Smart Ultra 6... look at the manual:

http://www.vodafone.com/content/dam/group/devices/downloads/smartultra7/VFD-700-UM-Eng-EN_18.pdf

Here's the official Smart Ultra 7 product page, on Vodafone's site:

http://www.vodafone.com/content/index/what/devices/smartultra7.html

Here's the source code for the Smart Ultra 7, if you need it:

https://sourceforge.net/projects/alcatel/files/OT_VFD700_20160530.tar.xz/download

Vodafone Portugal said they have plans to release marshmallow for ultra 6, but they don't have any dates yet (or they just don't want to tell us), so there's no need for that.
