Guys, got a problem. Every time im trying to connect to the wap using the GPRS settings found somewhere here, i keep getting a messege: "Unable to place call" im on Vodafone UK contract, tried wot ever i could, pls, pls HELP me :cry:

Please paste the GPRS/WAP/MMS settings for any Operator/Country you may know in this thread.

We will point people looking for these here, and hopefully, over time, we'll have a usable ressource for the forum.

cant find complete GPRS/MMS/WAP settings for SMART Network Philippines.

SMART Network Philippines

Create proxy connection

Description: Smart WAP proxy

Connects from: The Internet

Connects to: WAP network

Proxy (name:port): 010.102.61.46

Type: WAP

Username: blank

Create GPRS connection.

Description: Smart GPRS

Connects to: The Internet

Access point: internet

First field: Smart MMS

cant seem to use it.

I have my Nokia 9210i before i got SAP and i use Mobile Data & Fax extensively.

would it work in SAP? cant find the faxmodem driver though.

Tried this, however one problem in MMS settings - it says connects to "ORANGE MMS" ??.

Confused, havent got this is it a typo or am i missing the obvious

try to re-check in your phone settings the configuration that martin posted...

it should work for you too...

why o why cant i get my payg on orange to work wap gprs etc etc

there is load of instruction and none work!!!!

please someone with a payg spv post the settings!

im gonna kill myself with frutration! and that aint good

I am not sure virgin offer a GPRS service but they do have a WAP dialup

(might be worth considering an alternative network SIM for GPRS)

im desperate to get my spv working vodafone gprs ive tried the settings from here but so far im not doing to well.

The Orange PAYG setting should now be exactly the same as the contract settings. See section 2 of this topic for the Orange UK settings.

If you have get any 'unable to place call' errors then try changing the Access Points to payginternet and paygwap.

mawawala pala ang gprs setting if you upgrade it to q-tek,follow ko yung mga instruction dito ok naman ala tsamba.hehehe.my sap is line kc from smart, ang problema ko na lang e yung work connection under data connection.sabi ng taga-smart e dapat "automatic" daw nakalagay dun e wala akong pagpipilian kundi "none available" lang.pls could someone help me with the instruction.thnx
