Isa pa kung nakikita na nya yung mga wav files sa Storage CardMy Documents. Without the third party applications (e.g. SMS Tools, Changesonaire). Ano paba...? Guest sweetyls Posted November 22, 2003 Report Share Posted November 22, 2003 done upgrading... as with rom 1.6, everything's wiped out. no significant change (been using it for 2 mins pa lang) except maybe na they were able to fix na the SMS character count, and there's a delete-all-sms function for all folders. be updating you abt the batt life in a few days. My rom version is 1.3.7.8. Here is my question, should I upgrage my rom to 1.7.0.13? I am worried that since my phone is Network and SIM and application UNLOCKED, after upgrading everything will be locked. Is this true? Or will everything still remain unlocked. Please help me decide. SMS can now be sent to numbers other than those in the mobile field of contacts functioning SMS character counter SMS alerts work even when you still have unread messages in inbox Contacts now have the additional menus such as send SMS when the contact is chosen Tasks are now displayed completely The websites in the Pocket IE favorites are now updated Radio off is now Airplane Mode STK service still has no exit button The IA software are the same version Battery life seems to be a little poorer than the other ROMS The menu speed is about the same More feedback to follow Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest Chito Posted November 24, 2003 Report Share Posted November 24, 2003 To early to compare with the other roms (Qtek etc.) but this is definitely better than 1.6 so if ur stuck with the smart 1.6 rom and don't have any plans of unlocking or changing to the other roms i suggest that you upgrade it to 1.7. Gusto ko lang malaman kung ano ang mga disadvantages aside from di na ko pwede mag-upgrade sa other non-Smart ROMS. Sa mga na-biktima, este nag-upgrade, please continue updating us re: bugs, improvements, and limitations compare to other ROMS. Thanks and good luck! But I cant seem to find the enhancements that virgil and rodnav had mentioned except the sms counter. Instead, I tried completing the download na lang of the upgrade (lintek sa tagal). It seems that there is a difference (have to confirm pa after the upgrade) between what is downloadable in the website and the one at the wireless center. From the screen, it says that my phone will be upgraded from 1.7.0.13 version to 1.70.13 version. Again, the only enhancement I noticed is the functional SMS counter.
