What is the status on Twit! being fixed. Right now this is the only application to update twitter status on WM5, so I am painfully waiting for the fix. SMS cost each time sucks, hehe.

Here is the latest build (1.070421) of the code and executable...still for Landscape Smartphones Only.

For some reason I couldnt post it into the first post.

When I get the timeline done...I'll post the code again.

When I get the timeline done...I'll create a portrait version.

oooo....the S710, eh! ;)

Because I dont know how to make the app work automatically for portrait and landscape....my personal plan was to make two seperate versions...one landscape, then one portrait. The S710 throws a wrench in the whole plan, doesnt it.

Definitely going to need help moving forward too. The fix I found was a line of code in VisualTwitter (see the Twitter Wiki). But I have a VERY minor understanding of VB. I can make forms and menus. I can look at someone elses code and kindof understand it....but I can't yet write it. Please, someone, help finish this up.

Thereare twitter apps out for Palm, and nokias....but none for Windows Smartphone/PPC. We cant have that! I even think at least one of them was ripped off from Twit!

There are two major things left to do:

1) TIMELINES: If someone could create a code that pulls public timelines in...I'll take that and make it work for personal, friends, etc.

2) PORTRAIT/LANDSCAPE LAYOUTS: I have no idea how to go about this as mentioned above. Two versions wont work, as mentioned above. Any ideas?

Let's work on this this week Nick!

With regards to the layouts, you can use the resize event on the form to trigger actions to change the layout, pretty straightforward.

I'll grab you on MSN and we'll get cracking ;)

Ummm...you're aware of my expertese in VB aren't you? Or lack there of? Though, I'm trying to squeeze in some learning when I can and like to learn from others. I'll help in any way I possibly can.

Paul has been busy and not been able to get back on it...or just lost interest entirely. I don't believe he even uses Twitter that much anymore. I have since switched to a PPC and have been converting the app for that platform. I am also a noob in developement so I dont move fast and it takes me time to learn and understand what I'm doing.

Unfortunately, no on else has volunteered to pick up on this app...being open source and all.

in the meantime check out http://m.twitter.com
