I have the same problem since I flashed with the last EN Rom van Thunder, not Armany one,but WM6.5.3 Build 28244.5.3.10.

It"s frustrating I can"t get "?" sign.My CSC was already IL4.I can"t even find it.Before the flash everything was OK.

I suppose that something in the English ROM is still with German settings like second startmenu in Windows map.

Hello,I have the same keyboard like madmid en just right now I flashed just to test, with another ROM and the keyboard is working now fine.

All signs are on the right place. So Thunder-my respect for the last English ROM-is working fine but after all I prefer to use the hardware keyboard.

It didn't work for me, the "? " ~" symbols located on the "up down left" keys aren't reacting at all.

@Arcobaleno - do you have the same keyboard layout like me?

I tried flashing XEN csc but the the "? " ~" symbols located on the "up down left" keys aren't reacting at all and instead the > symbol I get ].

@reopru5 - what csc are you using to get the hardware keyboard to work correctly?

Kind regards.

Hi madmid, just like I wrote I even didn't try another CSC.I just flashed with other ROM.

My problem happened only with Thunder's ROM's.I like them but it's strange this happened.

Months ago I tried another CSC(not remember which one)& I had the same problem.

Since then I have IL4.

greets.

Can you check this?

----------------------

Change slide-out keyboard layout

If you have a Device from one country, but would like to use the keyboard layout of another, you can change the keyboard's language setting to do so...

For US layout (QWERTY):

HKCU\ControlPanel\Keybd\Locale = 1033 (DWORD decimal)

For German layout (QWERTZ):

HKCU\ControlPanel\Keybd\Locale = 1031 (DWORD decimal)

For French layout (AZERTY):

HKCU\ControlPanel\Keybd\Locale = 1036 (DWORD decimal)

Sumit Bhardwaj wrote somewhere here in the forum, that microsoft remote desktop mobile can be the reason for hardware keyboard problems. I will make the rom without it to give that a try

I have it on my german rom, too.

Will make a new rom without remote desktop to check, if it then works and then rebuild all rom's, that have this issue.

OK, that seems to be the reason. Removed remote desktop mobile and hardware keyboard is working correct.

Will upload fixed versions of the rom. Perhaps someone finds out a solution for restoring the keyboard driver without having to flash a fixed rom??

Thx for that. All other newer roms will be fixed today, too. The oler rom's doesn't have that issue, cause they are never cooked with remote desktop mobile.

Hahaha too late for me but I'm glad that the problem is solved.Nice ROM Thunder btw.

@Thunder141: I flashed your rom but my keyboard issue is still present. I seems I'll have to look for the solution elsewhere.

@everyone: Thnx for your suggestions.
