i8000 - Internal Memory: Not able to Format / Write

Hello you,

i tried to flash my I8000 with Windows7 and sofar it was sucessfull and yet not. When I use the official ROMs and flash with Octans it stops at some point and doesn't continue. Then I followed an advice and flashed with Custom ROMs (Tom33) and it worked, however with errors. I can use my phone now, yet there is a problem with the internal memory. I guess that the internal memory is somehow write protected, which makes it not flashable by the official Roms.

Now, I got installed a Custom Rom and it works so far, but I cannot write / delete my internal memory. When I try to connect it to Windows it works and I see it and find it (Mass Memory). (I had to download a tool provided here first, MoviPatch_Eng_100416, and then it became visible).

But when I try to format it in Windows or delete all the files it first shows an sucess, but when reconnecting all the files I had originally on it were still there.

Even with the tool from here (nueStorageManager-v1.1) I can format and it says success, but when I remount / reformat it it is there with all the original files.

I guess this is the reason why I cannot flash with official Roms and have errors (like when starting File "boot.exe" not found) when flashing with Custom Roms.

Any advice? Cause I would love to use the internal memory again since the 512 MB are somehow limited even with a custom rom that leaves free space ... :-)

2 - Next: Temp \ MoviPatch:run NormalPatchUpdate.exe
