  1. Which recovery you using? I use TWRP with no problems.
  2. looking at: ThL5000 or Thl T100S or DooGee DG900
  3. I agree, it's like a completely different phone. I rebuilt with out Odex (i.e. deodexed) and I think its better. Also used CeXstel Kernel for 4.2.2
  4. http://www.modaco.com/topic/373378-cm101g510y300xperia-z1-rom/ Can this ROM be included in the 4.2.2 section?
  5. This brilliant http://www.modaco.com/topic/373378-cm101g510y300xperia-z1-rom/
  6. 4.2.2 is the best Android for our device. This ROM is superb! I've taken out a few 'bloaty' and social networking apps and didn't bother with Small Apps (2nd part), its smooth and beautiful. My method: Flash ROM (1st part) Flash CeXstel Kernal http://d-h.st/wM8 Flash Swap DragonX (neutral) http://d-h.st/users/infernape763/?fld_id=36395#files Flash Gapps http://www.mediafire.com/download/j8f06qt0nlcvnzg/GApps+4.2.2+13-09.zip Install your usual Apps Best to reboot between each stage. Optional: Odex: (flash method to avoid 'updating apps' error). OdexerTool_1.2_ARMEABI Flash the zip, then in Terminal type SU, then type Odex. Follow instructions on screen. ENABLE "REMOVE CLASSES.DEX & ZIPALIGN", A FLASHABLE ZIP BY RECOVERY WILL BE CREATED WITH OPTIMIZED SYSTEM, THEN REBUILD IN RECOVERY AND FLASH THIS FILE (You find it on sdcard and it's called "Optimized-System.zip" Will test battery over weekend. Well done on a fine ROM Edit: battery now worse or better than Expert V4 Not sure if Odexed is any better than deodexed..cant see any advantage? Installed Xperia Launcher2....really nice!
  7. This ones pretty good: http://www.modaco.com/topic/373280-jb-422-cyanogenmod-101-rom-06092014/ Haven't found anything that doesn't work.
  8. Corrupt file? try downloading a fresh copy and try again.
  9. Have you tried re-installing the Recovery? Follow the instructions: http://www.modaco.com/topic/362074-recoveryall-official-twrp-2701-root-10032014/ Otherwise....????
  10. I agree, this is a good one too.... Essential 4.1.1 good and stable. Expert 4.2.2 good and stable. 4.4.2 KK still issues.
  11. I agree, the best. KK (CM11) ROMs are almost there, but this is the best. I use it with SnapDragon script (Monster) and Cexstel v0.62 Kernel. This phone has limited memory and processor capability..so expect 'lagginess', it's never going to be better than it can be with any ROM.
  12. Have a look here...heap android phones with their own ROM, my be fun? http://www.etotalk.com/
  13. Here is Huawei Original Stock B199 ROM with PDF instructions (in English), from Huawei Y300 development Team. http://dl-uk.huaweinews.com/index.php?dir=Roms/Ascend-Y300/ Not tested. Flash via Device method, not CWM or TWRP. Will delete all User Data. Here is Huawei Original Stock B189 ROM if you want to install this then do OTA Upgrade. http://consumer.huawei.com/en/support/downloads/detail/index.htm?id=18269
  14. Expert V4Final - CM10.1 (4.2.2) http://www.modaco.com/topic/370754-rom-expert-v4-final-cm101-422/ This is what I've found to be slightly better than SlimKat. I keep swapping between the 2, and always come back to Expert V4Final. SlimKat's good, but there are still a few things that make it 'buggy' for everyday use.
  15. Haven't tried it, I'm 99.9% WiFi. Don't really do Mobile Data unless I have to (skinflint). Maybe someone else can comment.
  16. Absolutely the best ROM so far for Y300 Tried SlimKat, not bad, getting there, but still a few annoying issues. With this ROM, everything working, smooth, fast and battery comparable with similar ROMs. Viper4FX....nice and LOUD now! MX Player...plays flawlessly. BT, no noticeable problems. I think this ROM has been tweaked as much as possible...but you never know...........V5?
  17. Yes, no problems. I'm on Giffgaff and everything works.
  18. Using this V3 with Fly-On MOD http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2226373 Absolutely brilliant, best ROM around! Tried several KK ROMs, all pretty bad.
  19. Go to menu. Import/Export. Import from SIM card Sorry, i don't speak Italian!
  20. I used Infiniti Stock B199 ROM for quite a while. No fancy stuff, just simple what you need. Battery life was excellent. Now use Expert V3 (CM10.1) as i have SwiftKey keyboard installed and it only works properly on 4.2.2 up.
  21. I had no mobile network/signal until i rebooted twice, it just gets faster and smoother after several reboots. Great ROM Been using v2.2 up till now, this (V3) is slightly smoother and more responsive. To get 'Developer Settings', go to 'About Phone' and tap Build Number about 10 times.
  22. FusionX or Infinti for Stock B199, or best CM is CM10.1, I use Expert v2,2 (find it in the ROMs section). Stock has superb battery life, CM10.1 is OK.
  23. I use Expert v2.2 (v3 i think is a bit less responsive) for CM10.1 https://mega.co.nz/#!hUZWHSjD!VL70BQSnqpVEF6fsBJd0BwsmcjMdX0ydcrd8SS_IihQ Otherwise FusionX for B199
  24. I couldn't find it on CM pages, I found it on another Android blog. There must be loads of other hidden stuff!
