  1. It appears that neither TeamViewer QuickSupport, nor Mobizen work for the hudl2. Is there any way I can access it remotely (including screen sharing like in TeamViewer!) via my pc? It is a gift for my dad and I'd like to be able to deliver technical remote support to him. Thanks.
  2. EDIT: Using Paul's root method does not wipe the hudl2!
  3. I have a strange issue with the h2 - I plug the charger into the socket, the led goes red, but the device's battery drops instead of charging. The issue is temporarily fixed if I restart the hudl2. Does anyone else have a similar issue? I am on vanilla (un-rooted) firmware with the latest update on it. EDIT: A solution has been found for the time being! Thanks to Chris for stepping in for us! All credits go to him and the Tesco dev team.
  4. Try formatting it to FAT32. Maybe that will help. The H2 does not suport exFAT.
  5. I've been quite happy with that tablet. I don't see any love for these monster speakers - I did not expect them to be so loud and crisp - perfect for watching movies!
  6. I see a few options in amazon and ebay (YMMV): http://www.amazon.co.uk/TESCO-HUDL-Tablet-Case-exclusively/dp/B00O58FSP0/ The one above has cutouts for the speakers which makes it the most desirable for me. Takes 6-10 days to dispatch though o_O. http://www.amazon.co.uk/ORZLY®-Integrated-Positions-exclusively-Protectors/dp/B00O7MYGG6 http://cgi.ebay.com/?viewitem&item=161450038291
  7. I reckon I get less than 5hrs screen time on mine. However, check out the screenshots I've attached. I've turned sync off, I have Google News & Weather running as well as Chronus. I listen to a lot of music. Damn Dolby speakers are really loud and good! I've had it on for 2 days 15 hrs and I have 34% battery left. Screen time: 1 hr 40 mins. http://i.imgur.com/RlcuKY7.png http://i.imgur.com/WGVOVPb.png
  8. Hey guys! Thanks to Paul for leading the battle to root the hudl2. I was wondering if anyone has bought a bargain folio/cover for their tablet? I'm liking Tesco's version of a folio but at £20 it seems a bit too expensive. I guess I would be comfortable shelling out around £10 or so. Thoughts?
  9. Great work, Paul! Can't wait to de-tescofy my hudl.
