  1. Actually the source is for all devices, you just need to add a relevant device tree to it. As Trip appears to be porting (rarther than compiling from source) it is no use to him. I say appears to be porting as through a few builds the MD5's of some core files remained the same, something that wont happen on a fresh compile, I am not meaning libs, as I know these wont change.
  2. Ok, the trolling stop's, Just note this: The Very Quick Summary of General Public License (GPL) The GPL states that anyone who modifies GPL licenced code is required to make available the sources used to compile it. This is to further improve and encourage collaborative work, as well as to ensure that the best code possible is produced, and to encourage peer-review of all work. This benefits both developers and end users in numerous ways, including: Allowing anyone to verify the code they are trusting with their data, and its authenticity Encouraging community collaboration to produce faster fixes and updates, and better code Helping bring new developments from other devices and fields to your own, letting you benefit from new code that wouldn’t have been available without this sharing. The GPL imparts great freedom for GPL end users. It ensures innovation is never stifled and no project is dependent upon any single developer. It is in everyone’s interest for the GPL to be adhered to, as it gives us all better ROMs, better transparency, and a better atmosphere for developers to work together to make great code. Source: http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.html So, no more name calling. Now please argue I am wrong...
  3. Get clockwork on http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...rkmod-recovery/ Then flash a rom through that.
  4. @paul, If you feel like being adventurous you can see what I did to get a PSFreedom enabled recovery image going on a Desire here: http://www.klutsh.com/2010/11/18/howto-build-psfmod/ Best of luck.
  5. Have you put the vendor tree on github? I make the psfMod editions of clockwork (the ones with psfreedom added) Full source for needed changes is on github.com/klutsh, so feel free to add it to your recovery, I will be posting a full guide very soon of what exactly needs editing.
  6. Video Ad say's video calling, so could possibly be a 'phone' too.
  7. Sorry, I don't know, maybe because it's odex'd?
  8. You don't seem to have a Web Browser set as Default, You can manually go to http://psas.revskills.de/?q=goldcard
  9. Source code added to first post.

  12. The 3GP file format stores video streams as MPEG-4 Part 2 or H.263 or MPEG-4 Part 10 (AVC/H.264), and audio streams as AMR-NB, AMR-WB, AMR-WB+, AAC-LC, HE-AAC v1 or Enhanced aacPlus (HE-AAC v2). See here for more: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3GP_and_3G2
  13. Run a logcat, should give you answers. At first guess, I'd say framework errors, drivers, the core system files are different on sense rom's too AOSP rom's You might like to know that both Camera Apps record in H264, just HTC use the 3gp file wrapper.
  14. Lets see if I can explain... On a de-odexd rom the Dalvik VM run's the dex optimise process on first boot, meaning you have a un-optimised dex (.dex inside the apk/jar) file in the APK/Jar files and a optimised dex (.odex) file in the dalvik-cache meaning more space is used, on a odexd rom this optimise process is already done, meaning the dex files don't need need to be optimised on boot so don't get stored in the dalvik-cache, leaving more space. Also once a apk/jar has been optimised you can't swap out (theme) the resources of it without first de-odexing it. Think that covers it :D
  15. New SLCD Desire? Have a look at this thread anyhow, lot's of SLCD & HBOOT 0.83 FAQ's: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=749551
