  1. Well, there are really 3 variants of the HTC Wizard. HTC Wizard 110: Dopod 838 Cingular 8125 VPA Compact II HTC Wizard 100: (Same as 110, but without camera) Cingular 8100 HTC Wizard 200: i-mate K-JAM Q-Tek 9100 Orange M3000 T-Mobile MDA Vario O2 XDA Mini S The Sprint PPC6700 is not a wizard, however an htc apache. There are two varients of that to my knowledge, the PPC6700 released under sprint and a canadian company, and the VX6700 being released for verizon.

  3. This is from boxwave's flexiskin pic.. the homescreen on the devices, is that an included homescreen, or perhaps just a fake graphic to show on the phone?
  4. they all checked out, i tried deleting the pairing and it still does the same thing.
  5. All of a sudden, when I plug my smt5600 into my computer i get a "dundundun" sound instead of a "dundah", and activesync doesn't laucnh. lol, don't know how to explain it any better then that, but thats my problem. My axim works fine, launches activesync and works. I've tried going through my dock and my cable for it, doesn't do it. Tried different usb ports, nothing..
  6. I'll have to do that. Any word of any plans for a 900mhz US version? Maybe edge too?
  7. Hmm, thanks for the responce. Unfortunatly, I've got cingular, just no universal. ;) I'm on a smartphone right now with the 850 band, with an orange sim.. So i'm trying weigh my options with stepping up to this. Blah, why can't there be edge! :D
  8. I'm pondering getting one of these as my next device, but I was wondering if anyone has any first hand experience with this guy in the US with cingular, lacking the 900mhz band? Do any of the vairents support 850mhz? I'm wondering how the coverage would be.. Also, do any of the variants support EDGE?
  9. I don't know if this is a setting I've over looked, but I can't keep any pop3 emails. When I get them new, I can read them over, but if I go back to read it again its gone. It doesn't keep anything, just shows me whats new on the server. I'm on SMT5600 running WM5, but I've had the same problem in 2003SE.
  10. Aye, I can vowch for that. Got it from an amazon seller from $70, too. Probably some more good deals up there. Smeg, does the mouse do anything with a smartphone?
  11. I'm looking for a program that will initate a soft reset, much like the shortcut in fascade's icon bar, but I want something that I can put in my MRU.
  12. I want this guy soo bad.. Agh, I've just got to wait another one/two month-ish, and it should be accessable.
  13. GOD, I had this before, I've got an x50v and a SMT5600 with cingular, and today I just flashed my axim with the newest ROM, and when I set my GPRS settings I remembered what a bitch it was to set this up the first time. Heres what I'm doing: Number: *99# User name: WAP.CINGULARGPRS.COM Password: CINGULAR1 Dial String: +CGDCONT=1,"IP","WAP.CINGULAR" All other settings default, such as 19200, check on wait for dial tone, all TCP/IP defaults... ugggggggh. If anyone knows what i'm doing wrong any help would be greatly appreciated
  14. What would some of you guys recommend as far as software and/or hardware goes for a GPS system with my 5600?
  15. yeah,i'm not about to do that. just wondering if there is an easy way to do it
  16. i just got the phone as a mpx220 replacement, so i've installing all my apps and such. first time it happened was when i hit the restart icon on the fascade home screen plug in
  17. i don't know how, but my phone no longer has the cingular startup and shut down screen it came with, it just says mobile operator. where can i find the screens again, and then how would i in about setting them back up?
  18. so, last night i was thrilled because i got my bluetooth activesync to work. now, i turn my computer on and bluetooth and usb don't work. i'm not really all that concerned about the bluetooth, but when i plug the usb in, i get a usb device not recognized error, and the phone doesn't charge from the usb
  19. ::bump::, a phone with no ear speaker is really a pain in the arse, can't anyone just tell me if theirs is sodered or not, or how many pins there are?
  20. It looks like when I was cleaning the dust out of the inside of my MPx220, I severed the connection between the earpeice speaker, and the rest of the electronics. I open it up and I see one metal pin comming out of the earpeice speaker.. is that suposed to be soddered to the board, and where its touching the board, there are two metal dots. Could it be that, or is there suposed to be two pins and I broke one off? Anyone that's had a good look at the inside of their MPx220 should be able to help me out. ><
  21. I've got an MPx220, and I can't get the external LCD to load, and isn't in the list to be selected. Can you upload just the image so i can put it in there myself?
  22. Yeah, my biggest problem with this phone is actually that the vibration is too string and too loud. It gets me in trouble in class because its easily heard in a silent room, so I have to turn vibration off completely. However, Agile's vibration is nice because its spaced into into little vibrations.
  23. I've had that problems a couple times, I could usually just close the cam app and open it again and it would be gone.
  24. I got the BlueTrek G2, I love this thing. Its so sleek, easy to use, the battery lasts a long time, and the quality is great.
