    Nexus 4, 7 3G and 10 go on sale, 4 sells out

I received emails this morning at 08:32 and 08:36, the first confirming availability of the Nexus 10, and second for the Nexus 7 3G. Had a busy day at work, and lunch ended up being a working lunch/meeting so didn't have time to order. Came home at 6pm, and after placing an order for the Nexus 7 3G, I noticed the Nexus 4 and 10 are showing as 'coming soon'. I guess I'll just wait for the N10 to become available, but to be honest, I think I ought to settle for the 3G N7. I returned my 16gb to Tesco for a refund, so I know what to expect when it's delivered. Great little tablet! The 3G N7 is now showing as 'coming soon' now (8:30pm)

Samsung finally announce the Galaxy S3

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that after all the hype, the design is a let-down? I was expecting more eye-candy.

What makes you stick with Windows Mobile?

    1) The question is why? Why do you stick with Windows Mobile? - Support from XDA developers 2) What feature(s) make you stick with Windows Mobile? - The developers who work hard for the WM community (non profit) 3) What deters you from other Mobile OS devices? - Lack of choice/options when it comes to modding the software
  5. HD - nice  I've email O2 just to confirm that they are offering the Xperia as a swa for my existing handset due to my ongoing issues with it, rather an upgrading me early. As long as this is the case, I'll go for the Xperia and sell it, then buy the HD :)
  6. Thanks for the link, i already read the review yesterday. After looking around the web, it appears a significant number of Xperia owners are having issues with cracks appearing on thier phones Having thought about it, I've never managed to fill more than 2gb of my 4gb microSD card in my Polaris, so I guess the 4GB internal memory of the HTC Diamond would be enough. So I guess I'm now open to either the Xperia or the Diamond. I like the idea of the extra screen size of the Xperia, but the build issues are putting me off a little. Will the Diamond perform as well/fast as my Polaris? Another option is to go for the phone that sells for most money on ebay, sell it as soon as I get it unused, then put in some extra cash and buy a Touch HD. Again, your opinions are appreciated, thanks.
  7. Because I've had a few replacements from O2 for my scroll-wheel rubber ring falling off (common problem), they've offered to change it for a Sony Ericsson Xperia or the Touch Diamond. I have 7 months left of an 18 month contract, so this could be a good to ease the wait for my contract to end so I can go for the Touch HD. The problem is, I'm happy with my Orbit 2/Polaris apart from the rubbber key falling off. I'm not considering the Touch Diamond because of the lack of external memory/SD card support, and the screen looks small. Is the Experia an upgrades from the Orbit 2? Is there any reason I'd regret swapping my Orbit 2/Polaris for the Experia? I use my phone for mobile internet, email, navigation (tomtom), and calling. Any opinions appreciated!

Orange World Browsing - unlimited data

I didn't know the the OWU data allowance would expire! I had it for 18 months without issue. Just ported to O2 with their 600 minutes, 1000 texts, and unlimited data bolt-on for £35. For some reason I was under the impression Orange's 3G coverage is superior to O2's. So not wanting to take a risk, before porting my number, I took out a contract with O2 to test the network. To my surprise over a 6 day period, O2's 3G was superior to that of Orange in EVERY area I checked. So I returned the phone under the distance selling rule, and ported over my Orange number. Now I'm a happy bunny with my Orbit 2.
  9. ...and just when I thought the Orbit 2 (Polaris) would be my next handset. Do I wait, or do I go (Orbit2)????
  10. It looks like HTC have removed the UK operator settings file from their website. Luckily I saved the file to my hard drive a couple of weeks ago. I've uploaded it on this page: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?p...s_provider_cabs The direct link: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/uploads/UK_Setup_ZD.exe You need activesync running on your PC and the device connected. When you run the cab you can select from Orange, Voda, 02, T-Mobile, Virgin, or 3: :)

    Audio and Power adapter

Original HTC item for a few quid more: http://www.expansys.com/htc/p_htc_item.aspx?i=145071 Or http://www.gpsforless.co.uk/product_details.php?id=6911 Only 2 way rather than three way though. I'm condiering going for the HTC item along with this: http://www.intomusic.co.uk/scripts/digiana-audiax.asp
  12. I'm posting this on my M3100 while connected to "Orange Internet (EDGE)". Has anybody else noticed they are now connecting to EDGE where they were connecting to GPRS (G) before the update?' EDGE appears to be almost as fast as 3G. 3G is connecting as usual when in a 3G signal area.
  13. Are these prices plus VAT? Also, what do you reckon will happen to those of us with the Orange World Unlimited (OWU) bundle? Will we keep it, or be moved onto one of these plans?
  14. Thats what I thought, but as soon as the phone is plugged into the laptop I get the Windows 'found new hardware' wizard popping up, and the Internet Sharing's status on the phone reads "Check USB Cable". EDIT: Now working - it would appear I didn't have Activesync installed on the laptop I was trying to get it working on. Tried it on another laptop with Activesync and connected to the internet fine. Installed Activesync to the first laptop and that's now working too.
  15. The wireless modem program in the accessories folder has now been replaced with "Internet Sharing". I cannot now use the phone as a modem connected to my laptop in the way that I used to, using the dial up connection.
