  1. use the volume control whilst the game is running to change the volume up / down on some devices you have to tap in many times because of the way the hardware behaves, on others u can hold it down like normal
  2. yet another form factor to be aware of for games ...grrrrrr
  3. last time I looked at it you had to pay for app signing
  4. The other thing to bear in mind is that people often have legitimate reasons for their IMEI changing - like a device breaks and needs exchanging Do you really want to stop your software working under those conditions ?
  5. yes, be aware that you need your app to be properly signed to access the IMEI on most Windows Mobile devices

  7. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
  8. You didn't need to install VS2005 and eVC++4.0 - just one of them would have done - but if you have the choice and are just starting then the VS2005 with the mobile 5.0 sdk is probably the best way to go as the VS emulator is pretty good to work with well done tho - keep up the good work :)
  9. Sorry, could have sworn I'd replied in here when I first saw the post. I will be in touch as soon as I've got a project for you - some really nice work on your site there - so definately interested in getting together on something. :)
  10. Sorry guys, but these are very old projects now (I wrote them originally back in March/April 2003) At this time I have no plans to continue working on them, I'm working on new games now.
  11. there is a WM5 QVGA version I did here http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=231961 but it is the same game just with a bezel around the image in the middle at some point I may get around to making a fullscreen QVGA version, but it's not high on my list of priorities atm I'm afraid
  12. did I miss the results of this? did we get a winner announced ?
  13. ok folks, it turns out it was a variation on the headset bug I'd obviously been too delicate with my prodding in the headphone socket on previous attempts
