  1. Hi. i would suggest oruxmaps with mapmytracks.com Account.
  2. i would say its okay. could be better. Maybe runs smoother with 2.2. You could try the demo, its free and works without this trick. Multitouch would be great. But the trackball for shooting is fine, too.
  3. Hi! I just bought MiniSquadron (23MB) over Market and was not able to download. I recognized that android is downloading the Stuff from Market to the /cache partition which only has arround 20MB. So its impossible to download stuff larger than this. You can use a trick. Create a folder "cache" on your sdcard, umount /cache, mount the /system/sd/cache to /cache. Now i was able to download MiniSquadron and install it successful. mkdir /system/sd/cache umount /cache mount --bind /system/sd/cache /cache Download and install. umount /cache mount /dev/block/mtdblock3 /cache Cheers
  4. Just want to say thanks for this great roms. I edit them by my self for my needs everytime a new FLB is released, based on your rom. Can you tell me, what exactly SFP.apk does? I have removed it now for long time on my own rom, and never missed a feature. Edit: BTW: I'm having a little bug with wifi. When it is set to "Never" disconnect and the screen is off for a longer time and reactivated. Its still connected, but there is no data transfered. i have to switch off and on. Any idea?
  5. 1) Phone type T-Mobile Pulse U8220 2) Official 2.1 ROM flashed (T-Mobile, Tre, other) Yes, T-Mobile HU 2a) If flashed T-Mobile did you flash custom_hu No 3) Did you do a full wipe before installing FLB 1.0? Yes 4) Did you use any restore apps like Titanium Backup? Yes 5) Are you using A2SD? Yes 5a) If yes, do you have dalvik on SD? No 6) Problem with the rom No Touchscreen when rebooting via "adb reboot"
  6. try barnacle Wifi Tether: http://www.androidpit.com/en/android/marke...cle-Wifi-Tether It does not need custom kernel
  7. i used GPSstatus for now about 2hours. I wanted to check if i can find anything on logcat. But, it did not lose connection :/. Edit: Checked settings. agps was disabled. Trying the same with agps enabled now.
  8. Is something similar possible with the pulse? Seems not to be hard. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=566410 cat /proc/iomem 00100000-007fffff : smi 10000000-17ffffff : System RAM 10050000-10468fff : Kernel text 1046a000-105b15b7 : Kernel data 11100000-118fffff : ebi [...] But we need the kernel source for this. ;)
  9. I am not family with all the android stuff. Would it make sense to move app, app-private and dalvik-cache to SD Card and create a swap-file (i know, custom kernel is needed) in the data partition? Can we move /data/data to SD Card by the way? Does this make sense(speed&stability)?
  10. I did this, but after a restart of the phone. dalvik is back to sd and requires a repair again. Any idea? Edit: i found out, that there are three Scripts in Beta4 (in system/etc/init.d) which are not in Beta3 ! Could this be the problem with dalvik cache??? Edit2:I deleted them (02cachedalvikcache, 40a2sd, 99complete), a2sd working fine now.
  11. Or use this modified version: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=630887
  12. i tried to replace the phone and contact apps with that one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=599194 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=623205 But i only get FC. :(
  13. As far as i know, you have to modify the script for the pulse. Since the system partition is not mtdblock3. I think its mtdblock1.
