  1. I have a Hermes / SPV M3100 running Windows Mobile 5 and the following apps:- PhoneAlarm Photo Contacts Pro eWallet SportsDo Skype PocketBreeze Tomtom Navigator 6 1. Can I download the Windows Mobile 6 update for this phone? 2. If so where from? 3. Are all the above apps still compatible? 4. Does ActiveSync 4.2.0 still work? 5. Are there any other surprises I should be aware of before installing? Thanks Mark
  2. I have tried the first one but didn't really like the scrolling across the top of the screen as the players had a go. Also, I found that the keys didn't work very well and had to use the touch screen most of the time. Any others out there?
  3. Im looking for the best texas holdem poker game that is compatible with the Hermes / SPV M3100 Any ideas which is the best? Thanks Mark
  4. Great stuff, will you post here to let us know it is available? Regards Mark
  5. Hi, I too seem to have developed a problem with Snooze now. Basically when an alarm sounds, I hit snooze (default snooze time set) but the alarm never sounds again. The app is still running. I have tried re-installing incase anything else has caused an issue with this application but still not working correctly. Is this a bug? Thanks Mark
  6. Background Information I am testing on a Orange SPV M3100 running WM5 Requests for Changes When the "Sleepyhead" alarm sounds, can you show a numeric keypad with BIG numeric buttons and the code to be entered. This saves having to get the stylus out and use the small built in keypad. This way we will be able to use finger nail to enter the Stop code.. This could be very similar to the keypad that is used when dialing a number A Today plugin that shows the next active alarm would be nice. Clicking on it loads gentimer application. Exit the application button/menu would be nice? When configuring alarms I click on the alarm until the options menu appears, however a lot of the time I end up disabling my alarm (single click). Could enable/disable by presented by a tick box next to each alarm? When configuring an alarm allow a preview alarm tone option for the seleted alarm tone. When configuring the alarms show the current time somewhere on this screen. Bugs The startup screen set under settings doesn't always take you to the configured screen, for example I have Alarms set but it goes to the clock Questions Should snooze stop working if the application is exited? Great app though. I always used to use it on my SPV600 and its good to see it on PocketPC.. Thanks Mark
  7. Could this problem be related to the "Notification Queue"???? Help.. I keep missing meetings..
  8. I have a Hermes running Pocket Breeze and Pocket Informant 2007, however I don't seem to be getting any alarm notifications / alerts for calendar events.. Cant seem to find a setting in these apps. I am setting on alarm on the acutal event but it never notifes me. I am also using phoneAlarm, can this be disabling them? I have check under Sounds and Notifications and all is ticked for events/notifications. Any ideas?? Thanks Mark

  10. Is there such an app as this:- I would like to see on my homescreen of my phone/pda a counter that tells me how many inclusive minutes I have remaining from my talk plan. Basically, I am on Orange and can call 150 then options 1,1 gives me my remaining minutes but I never call it so I think it would be a great idea to have this facility on the home screen. Does this exist? Is it possible by means of coding etc... Let me know your thoughts Thanks Mark

  12. What is the best alarm clock for the Pocket PC. I have a hermes and the built in alarm is rubbish. I am looking for one with a large snooze button and a very small dismiss button as I keep hitting dismiss instead of snooze. I would also like it to be able to play MP3 from storage card and have unlimited number of alarms. I have tried Chronos and SPB Time but didn't really get on with them. Either not big enough snooze button or didn't always activate when phone in standby. There must be a decent alarm program out there some where. Please help.. I'm late again today.. Thanks Mark
  13. Try this app:- http://www.pocketmax.net/phoneAlarm.html I got location based services working to switch to different profiles when I leave work and get home etc..
  14. Hi Kennyg, I used to use you older version of City Time Alarms when I had my smartphone. I really like it however I am a deep sleeper and used to find myself switching it off unconciously. Then I found an app call Gentimer which had a facility which I found very very useful. Basically when you created an alarm you had several version, ie. normal and sleepyhead. Basically sleepyhead version meant that to switch off the alarm you had to enter a randomly created 6 digit code and then select menu/off. If you didn't enter the correct code the alarm carried on sounding. If you didn't hear it it stopped and performed a default snooze of about 5 mins. Another good feature was you could pick a specific amount of time to snooze but basically you couldn't accidentally switch it off. Does you new version include anything like this sleepyhead mode, if not would it be possible to build into it. It would certainly make me use it again as Gentimer is not available or fully compatible with my new SPV M3100. I hope you dont mind my feedback, I am in no way criticising your application, just proving feedback of a feature I would love to see in it. Would be nice if you could build it into it as I am desperatly trying to find a good alarm clock. Thanks Mark
  15. Does this application work on the SPV M3100 (HTC Hermes)??? Thanks Mark
