  1. I've been working on tweaking the hell out of my base ROM, and have now got it to benchmark incredibly well (it also feels very snappy). This is a WM6.5.X ROM, based on the 3.04 and 2.14 OEM ROMs and 23563 XIP/SYS from Da_G All it has got is the bare minimum OEMDrivers, plus a fully featured SYS (some of the SYS applications have been tweaked: removed extra screen layouts for LockScreen, removed SampleMusic etc, UPXed a few things). The XIP has been tweaked quite heavily to get the best performance, and you should be able to add whatever you like to this ROM and it should remain stable. New build (10062701) Download links coming soon Thanks to Paul at MoDaCo, there's now hosting for my ROMs without the horrible wait time of RapidShare!

    Leo Radio ROMs

Here are a set of Leo Radio ROMs, direct download! <_< 2.05.50.11 2.06.50.04 2.06.51.07 2.07.51.05_2 2.07.51.22_2 2.08.50.08_2 Will update this as and when more radios appear. You'll need HardSPL to flash these.
  3. If it fails, restart the device... Once the device is in bootloader, unplug it then plug it back in and continue with the RUU.
  4. Although android is a more open platform in theory, there seems to be absolutely no advice/guides/anything useful! I think I don't like Anrdoid... :) WM needs more hacking (and almost all the tools used are built from scratch) but at least people seem to share the discoveries they make...
  5. Yeah... But I feel like learning :) Got me the android SDK, a clean Ubuntu install with the Androidy stuff and the Passion images... What could possibly go wrong? B)
  6. ModelID: PB9911000 CIDNUM: GOOGL001 So it's a Google ROM... PB9911000 is also pretty similar to PB811000 (HD2) so it's from the same suite of devices. Lets see what else we can get out of this ROM!
  7. This may be an issue with WM6.5.X rather than my ROMs specifically...
  8. I can, but it'll take a while... Will running it as administrator work?
  9. In theory, just run my RUU and it should apply SSPL as well as flashing.
  10. Finally a beta of Soft SPL has been released for the HD2. Soft SPL allows the flashing of custom ROMs (any ROM) to the HD2, though unlike "hard" SPL it is not permanent. It must be used each time the device is flashed. Since its release this morning, there have been numerous ROM releases, most of which can be got from XDA-Developers. You can get SoftSPL from here, where there is a guide on how to use it. Note, we can't be held responsible for any damage to your device, and it's a beta designed for the more advanced user.
  11. I've started work on a clean Leo ROM, with multiple builds/configurations, I'll also make them multilingual when more Leo ROMs leak out... :) Builds: WM6.5 (the latest build that the Leo ships with/whatever comes out after it) WM6.5.3 post UI changes (probably COM3/COM4/COM5 variants as well, though that depends on how well they run) With all the configurations, the SYS will have things available in marketplace removed, and the XIP will be tweaked for best performance. Configurations: Full - Has all the HTC programs/files with things like sample images removed Lite - Has some HTC applications in it, though no Manila etc as they are massive resource hogs (basically, full without manila) Vanila - Has only the required HTC applications (Comm Manager, Camera) and the HTC SIP and nothing else. WM6.5.3 10010201 [+] WM6.5.3.3 Build 28205 [+] 2.02 Leo ROM [+] Lots of fixes, including the lockscreen, stability.[/code] Coming soon! 12. It's so sloooow!!! Snapdragon is the way forwards!
  13. The LG Monaco appears to be the first Snapdragon QWERTY device out any time soon, and now has more names than I've ever seen for the same phone! AT&T announced the eXpo branded version coming on 7th of December (so the US might be graced with the Snapdragon power sooner than they though), with Telus selling it as the LG IQ. On top of Snapdragon, it also features a pico-projecter and a fingerprint scanner. Clearly then, it's aiming for the business market. ">" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="425" height="344"> With the QWERTY keyboard it should bring Snapdragon to those who have held of the HD2 for its lack of keyboard. PhoneScoop have published a full hands on here.Would you buy one instead of an HD2?
