  1. Apps here are for i900. Many will not work with i910 or i900l or other models. Note first post says "SOME" will work for i910. Means not all. Try another forum(or another site) for i910 apps. Good luck- Ron...
  2. DX is the geographic area (search this forum for the complete table list) I is the year = 2009 A or D is the month. A=Jan/D=Apr 1/5 is the release for that month. So DXID1 = Apr 2009, Apr Rel #1 is the latest. The other one is Jan 2009, Jan Rel #5. Ron...
  3. And another great answer from Andrew. (see above) Below is a copy of my comments to a similar question recently: The first "Pinned Topic" at the beginning of the list of topics for this forum is titled "How To Flash Your i900 Omnia Phone". All you have to do is start looking at the beginning of the list of topics for this forum and you will find a lot of other useful threads and tutorials. And use SEARCH. Ron...
  4. (Ditto to Andrew thoughts.) The first "Pinned Topic" at the beginning of the list of topics for this forum is titled "How To Flash Your i900 Omnia Phone". Doesn't that sound like where the answer to your question is? Took me all of 5 seconds to find that. All you have to do is start looking at the beginning of the list of topics for this forum and you will find a lot of other useful threads and tutorials. And use SEARCH. Ron... And of course, the next newbie question is - "What is the best rom?" - aaaahhhh! SEARCH!
  5. I went thru the same thing a couple of months ago. Really hated to give up the Omnia but got the HTC Tilt 2 (Touch 2) for a very good price from Amazon. People actually noticed the improved phone quality with the new phone. And I wanted to try out a hard keyboard. I would have to first eliminate some of the devices from your list. I would only consider a windows mobile device as I have many window apps I have used for many years from device to device, so that would eliminate the iphones and droids. I will not buy anything Sony after their root kit thing a couple of years ago. (that cost them a big screen tv and a bluray player). So that mostly leaves a HTC windows devicesw. Maybe even wait for a windows 7 device if it ever shows up. :P Ron...
  6. At wireless.amazon.com the tilt 2 (same as touch 2 with slightly different keyboard) for AT&T is on sale. $49.99 for upgrade and $0.01 for new service with free activation charge (two-yr contract  ). I ordered and expect to see it in a couple of days. Ron...
  7. One thing that has been tried in the past is to change your phone subscriber to someone else (not for real) and then change back to the right one for you. Sometimes this clears up the problem with IE and Opera connecting. Ron...
  8. And again-- fotograaf- A question for you to ponder: Don't you think that on an English language forum you would get your question answered more readily from the knowledgeable members of this community if you wrote your question in the language (English) that the members predominately understand? IMHO Ron....

  10. ray i8000- Newbie tip: Don't post a one line question to a 10 screen previous post. Just highlight most of the old post and "DELETE" before hitting Send. Very simple to do. Can you imagine if everyone did what you did? This thread would be hundreds of pages long and unreadable. IMHO, Ron...
  11. Hi Steff, Yes, I am serious. Wouldn't kid you on this as I am not a newbie here (see the stars. While I can't cook  , I have been flashing Omnia for a couple of years.). I have tried several hard resets, reflashing and even redownloading from a mirror. I have actually gone back to 22010 temporarily because of this. A flash and SPB restore worked OK for this. I am starting to think this is being caused by my restoring my apps using Sashimi and SPB Backup/Restore (tried all the levels) to a rom of a different series/family. This technique worked when I first upgraded to 22010 (and then going back to 22010) with no problems. If this is the case, I will have to restore my extra apps and their settings one at a time from scratch. Not insurmountable, just a pain. Roms are getting smoother all the time. Like the htc Calc. Keep it up. I'll try and move forward with you. Ron...
