Doesn't seem like it. BTW, there's good advice and there's crappy advice. Your advice definitely doesn't sound good at all. Mabuhay! Carlo Ma. 5. I haven't tried it yet, but if you car get RealOne Player into your Smartphone, then I think it will work. Mabuhay! Carlo Ma. 6. Okay. I think the questions we should be asking are what can cause this to happen and how do we prevent it from happening. If the phone simply hangs and is powered off, sometimes you get temp files that cause the unit to run low on resources... causing it to lock on the Operator logo screen. Solution is to do a hard reset by erasing the IPSM. How? Simple. Remove SD card, MMC, or the dummy card. Power it off. Power it on whilst pressing the record button. Hold them down for a few seconds. On the white screen, before the 3color Canary Screen, press the action button (the joystick center) for a few seconds. A menu will appear. Select erase IPSM. That's all. Mabuhay! Carlo Ma. 7. Anyone good with php? I think you'll have to create a plugin for phpBB to make that work. But that sounds good. Mabuhay! Carlo Ma. 8. I think we should be more appreciative of the gesture of Paul giving us this venue. I think demand is too strong a word for it. Mabuhay! ~ Carlo
  9. It could be something like this... The only problem so far I'm getting is that there is still no merge topics option. Splitting a topic up is not a problem, but what about putting them together? If the topic can be mirrored into another thread, either mid thread or end...or even as a start of a thread in a main area it would be easier on moderators... but this depends on the features of this forum. I'm still hoping for a merge feature so I can clean up the Geeral - Pinoy area. Mabuhay! ~ Carlo
  10. Well, you seem to be having problems seeing the point of it all... this app doesn't suck as you claim... and as it's name implies... it is a viewer. If you really need something that does far more than the Smartphone, maybe it would be a good idea to look at a Pocket PC Phone Edition which obviously will have more power and more functionality. An example is the Pocket PC's version of Adobe Acrobat which supports several viewing modes... another is SoftMaker's TextMaker which is a full featured Word-like app which feels like Word '97 crammed into the Pocket PC... obviously no clear way of cramming such a full featured app into a smartphone for the time being. If this is what you need, then go and get a PPC instead. Mabuhay! ~ Carlo
  11. Well, this is locale specific indeed and if it were placed in another section outside of General - Pinoy, then it becomes a waste of bandwidth since fewer Pinoys will see it. Now isn't that obvious? I don't see anything wrong with it being in this part of the forum. BTW, Filipinos are not selfish creeps... hwag mo kami idamay if that's how you feel. This is a Pinoy topic and I say it can stay in here. Carlo [MVP]
  12. Okay... what was that again? Yes I'll be in Davao for 2 days only... but it's purely work so I don't think I can go gallivanting around. Who's sensitive? Who are the losers whom you hate? I don't get it... Mabuhay! ~ Carlo [MVP]

  14. Well, so far we are only given one category... that is General - Pinoy... I was hoping that we could get the capabilities to merge posts but I'm not sure if it is available. So far the best thing we can do is remind each new poster to do a search first before even posting a question... If you've noticed, we get the same questions over and over again... and if you answer them, and I delete that thread... the answer goes down the drain too. Mabuhay! ~ Carlo
  15. Here's a idea... resize the pics and then just place a link for the larger ones... I'll be posting them on the PinoyPocketPC/PinoySmartphone Site anyway... At least hindi malaki yung bandwidth na kakainin dito sa MoDaCo. Mabuhay! ~ Carlo

  23. Bakit ninyo pinagpipilitan na .99 or .98 bootloader ang kailangan? All you need is any new bootloader and ou can downgrade to 1.3.7.8 easily. Then... do whatever you want or upgrade to any other ROM... Upgrading to a 1.07.4M Bootloader does the trick. Mabuhay! ~ Carlo
