  1. When you plug in the charger, can you see the charging light at the 'on' button? Have you tried turn it on when it's charging? Have you tried take out the battery, sim and memory card and switch on with battery only?
  2. It seems like everytime when I want to connect to my PC or Netbook via USB, either as USB mass storage or active sync, I need to connect the USB cable and restart the phone before it can establish successful connection. And if it's disconnected and I want to connect again via USB, it will prompt USB device not recognized. I am sure this is not a computer problem as I tried on different computers. And I am using Shokka9's WM6.5 21210. Anyone might know a way to fix this?

  4. No thanks, I want something smaller and before my Omnia, I had the Dopod 838 (the one on the right in the 2nd and 3rd photo). And this thing is big..... No need for a physical keyboard for me now. WVGA will be nice but I don't want to trade it off with battery life.
  5. Thank you and all the best! Will await your official 6.5.
  6. Someone in another forum flashed his Omnia from his original official stock ROM (I think dated August 08) straight to Shokka9's Windows 6.5 ROM, this is a jump from WM6.1 to WM6.5 Beta without any problem. Not sure what package does Khuanchai's rom comes with, but most of the ROM I used from Modaco (Taril, Shokka9 to name a few), had already incorporated the ROM into the official update program so it's actually quite easy to do so.
  7. I was trying out the RVS thing and SRS HD, with the suggested reg patch which supposed to fix the crash/not waking up problem, after numerous installation and uninstall of both program/patch/reg edit, my phone will not wake up properly even after I deleted all the reg keys that was added. Hard reset my phone Friday night......
  8. i908, I hope this is not the one which was customized for China Mobile? All I know is that if you try to flash i900 ROM to China mobile Omnia (i908), you will brick it as the hardware is a little different.
  9. This is an optional GPS program (Garmin Mobile Navigator) provided by your mobile network operator. In South Africa all Samsung Omnia comes with this program no matter what operator you are with (Think this is a deal between Samsung South Africa and Garmin), and the program is preloaded on a 8g Sandisk TF card in your box.
  10. Don't know what happened but now I think I need to hard reset my phone. My Omnia has got problem waking up now after a couple of these trails, it probably messed up the suspend registry. Power off/reset does not restore some of my control function like touch screen (partial), optical mouse. I had already uninstalled all the fixes I installed and SRS/RSV already after I discovered this fix is not working for me.
  11. Then I wonder why my Omnia is freezing. Will try again with the Cab.
  12. Tried it and will revert later tonight. Ok, went to watch 'Angels and Demons'. Good movie but during the 4 hours I had added the reg key and installed SRS/RSV, it frozen 3 times...........not sure why but I am using Shokka's WM6.5 (21210), if this helps. I had already uninstalled the 2 programs for the time being.
  13. I got one of these generic brand leather case. Looks nice but you need to flip the top open to see the screen/answer a call. Look really bulky and you felt like you using a Walkie Talkie!!! Stoping using it now.
