  1. Pity this prg does not work on my S710 :D
  2. Have made my own Homescreens and Schemes to my Qtek 8310. Just unzip and copy to Home-folder. The zip-file contains the following: Scheme - blue, my own variant of blue - qtek, original blue-color-scheme - red, guava scheme - s710, from s710 Homescreens (everyone have statusbar at top and start-meny at the bottom) - clock blue.home.xml, background picture, clock&small date with blue color (same as blue-color-scheme above) - icon meeting clock blue.home.xml, 8 small prg-icons below statusbar, todays meetings, background picture, clock&small date with blue color (same as blue-color-scheme above) - meeting clock icon blue.home.xml, icons at the bottom... . . . - transparent meeting clock icon blue noShadow.home.xml, the statusbar is transparent with its background picture.... The limit of the transparent themes are that if you change background picture it will no more be transparent, only solution is to edit the path in the xml-file to the right picture  My favorite is transparent meet bigclock red.home.xml It has transparent statusbar, a small info about meetings below, rathe big clock and small date at the bottom. The red-color scheme matches my background picture perfectly. See bad snapshot taken from my SE T630. Home.zip

    Editting Menus

Search in this forum for "START MENU TWEAK ". " Open up Regedit, and browse to the following: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Shell/StartMenu Select 'Values' Select 'Order' In the value data you can now change the order of the links in the start menu. The easier way to find the link names is to open up All Explorer, Smartexplorer, or even browse to the phone via the computer, and look at the files in 'IPSMWindowsStart Menu'. Don't forget to add '.lnk' at the end of the program name, or it won't work. "

    xBar 3

I have problem with xbar3 and my Qtek-8310. I did a hard reset and tried again with the same result. The problem is if I have the phone ON it suddenly stops from working, can't access any menues, a fault mess tells something like :MSSTART cannot be found...? Can't load the start-menue o use any keys, must restart the phone to get it to work again. And I also see which time it stops from working becasue the clock has stopped. Now I have uninstalled xbar3 and the phone has worked for 3 days now, before this fault could happen a couple of times per day. Any ideas?
  10. In my old Qtek-8080 I ran this neat little program to get auto-key-lock and a watch as screensaver, but on my new Qtek-8310 this doesn't work anymore. I've downloaded the new WM5-version and installed it. When the times expires the lock goes in (that's OK), and the clock goes in (OK) but in a few seconds the clock disappears. The phone screensaves do some kind of override here. In Qtek-8080: Settings/Homescreen - timeout, set to "never" Settings/Power Management - backlight "10sec" - screen saver set to "none" In the Autokeylock-prg: - timeout set to "20sec in Home screen" - the rest "30sec" Screensaver in Autolock-prg: line1 dig clock 70pixel Enable backlight set to "disable" In Qtek-8310 I set the same values but the clock disappears, I think the 8310 does not have a value you can set for Screensaver-time, that the problem. Are there any Reg-Edit trix for this?

    Looking for Album software

Great. I found it yesterday and it worked great, wohoo, thanks. The strange thing is that I did nearly the same some days ago, picked out all album-files from my Qtek-8080 and placed it in Windows-folder and it didn't work, but with this zip it worked, YES! Now it's time to sell the 8080-thing...sadly almost none of the games works in my new Qtek-8310... but what the heck, I don't play games anyway, just to impress the crowd with "normal" phones.
  12. In my old Qtek-8080 a nice picture viewer program (Album.exe) was in the OS (Smartphone 2003). In my new Qtek-8310 i miss that neat little program, I mean with Album.exe I could easy get thumbnails (as in 8310), zoom easy (as in 8310) but in 8310 I seem not to be able to move around. If I zoom I browse a part of the picture, in 8080 I could move around the visible area but with 8310 it seem that I cannot do that :D or...? Are there any similar programs for the 830 available?
