  1. thanks, but not that clock I wanted to change :) Ock made a new clock and I think I need to edit some xml file
  2. Hi ock Thanks very much for such a nice build 23569 alphaui it's really great and one is not in doubt that it has taking a lot of time to build :) Little things I noticed The playing of swf files doesn't work. Lock screen doesn't activate but that could be something that I installed The agenda you slide to, seems to be updating every time and therefore you have to wait a couple of sek to see. Don't know if it's supposed to be so No biggies but just to let you know :) Ps anyone remember how to change the 12 hour clock to 24 hour. Changing region and sync only changes the "topbar" clock
  3. bt fix Haven't tested it but sector made a cab, be sure to backup before testing. http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-general...-for-new-roms/# post 10 Ps remember to read the thread
  4. It 's been awhile so I don't quite remember all the details :) Xbic phonepart is very stable but was something about that you couldn't flash the phone. If it is so I guess there is only one way and that's samsung repair :) http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-general...-latest-or-not/ ps Don't know if sk tools in a demo version could fix something that would take you some of the way to get your phone flashed
  5. and also he can just copy the exe file to the storage and start it from there, then the pictures will be on the storage
  6. hi andrew I've had problems with builds saving correctly to the registration database when I soft reset, the corrections I made simply wasn't there. I had to make the corrections and wait 30 sek and then power off instead of soft reset. Might be that m2d or some other program didn't get to write correctly to reg and therefore the phone freezes. Try to edit something in reg and then soft reset and see if the modification is there. Don't know if this helps but if it writes correctly then it isn't that problem, so we can move on to what it ells could be :) Sry I couldn't be of more help :)
  7. He did answer a couple of post back, I was just polite to answer what he wrote and ock always answers in spite off the Q has been answered. Your are one off many who had asked for the new rom. Many questions are directed to ock as he build the rom and that's fine, but if one can contribute with some help and info I can't see the wrong in that. If I see a Q from you again I will make sure not to answer :)
  8. ups sry notafication port 9, forgot to mention
  9. route 66 was delivered with my samsung Gps tweak: settings for i900 omnia 1. Make sure Omnia's External GPS settings as on defaults; - GPS program port = COM3 - GPS Hardware port = COM9 and Bud rate = 4800 - Manage GPS Automatically 2. Here are registry editings - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\GPS Intermediate Driver\Drivers\Samsung GPS Hardware\InputBufferSize: set from 4096 to 512 - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\GPS Intermediate Driver\Drivers\Samsung GPS Hardware\OutputBufferSize: set from 4096 to 512 - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\GPS Intermediate Driver\Drivers\Samsung GPS Hardware\SleepOnNoData: set from 100 to 0 - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\GPS Intermediate Driver\Drivers\Samsung GPS Hardware\RetryWaitOnError: set from 10000 to 0 - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\GPS Intermediate Driver\CurrentLogFile: set from CurrentLogFile to Blank (set string value to blank) - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\GPS Intermediate Driver\OldLogFile: set from OldLogFile to Blank (set string value to blank) - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\GPS Intermediate Driver\Multiplexer\MaxBufferSize: set from 16384 to 1024 - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Samsung\RIL\GPS\Accuracy set from 19 to 1 - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Samsung\RIL\GPS\QOPDelay set from 12 to 1 - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Samsung\RIL\GPS\RefreshRate set to 1 (default) - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Samsung\RIL\GPS\VAccuracy set from 0 to 1 4. Soft reset 5. Check and make sure above registry settings done properly, unless complete them proceed further! 6. Now you can check GPS reception; type in *#1472365# go into menu\views\ and click on "satellites info". Then go back into menu and click "get position". You will get a page with number of sats and the signal strength from each.
  10. you can't. What you can do is manually install the program your self to device and then remove it, doesn't work every time. In windows folder you can remove programs from the startup folder, but do not delete something that you don't know what is.
  11. first I deactivate vibration then I use touchback and after that install I use azharsunny's. It makes it more smooth, but if what you have know works, don't fix it :) TouchBackv1_0_beta4.cab iTouch_azharsunny_ULTRAtouch.cab
  12. fully agree with you. shokka's 6.1 rom might not be as fast when benchmarking it with sk tools, but the basic functions like opening an sms is so much faster and that games, and other programs, doesn't run so fast is for me irrelevant. Gps with xbic1 is ready in 30 sek with 5 to 9 satellites. To me omnia is just a phone and basic functions should work flawless, all other things is just glimmer :) By the way, wouldn't it be nice to see what shokka could cook for the i900 with all the new thing that have happen since 20270 :)
  13. hehe running the same and why, because it just works :) By the way I have found no lag in responsiveness. I installed another "driver" for vibration and with spb, sense,Spam alert and s2u2 it still opens sms in 2 sek.
  14. chefs are not allowed to cook swype in they roms but you can download it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=604949. To get a more responsive original keyboard disable vibration start>personal>vibration and install touchback. run touchback config set notification port to 9 and vibrate length to between 5-25 you can see what works best for you. Then choose menu>save and exit. credits to developer here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=478407 TouchBackv1_0_beta4.cab
  15. thanks very much for the testing of the phoneparts. However the battery time of 69 hours in dxif is not a general indicator. Tested xbic and dxif and the power drain I experienced was quite equal, in fact dxif used a bit more power than xbic and that would be quite normal as the signal strength is better in dxif. But nice that it works so well for you :(
  16. First of all check your sim card, it might be defect. If that's ok then maybe you should upgrade/reinstall the phonepart. Some setting in the phonepart has probably been set and what setting I don't know but installing a new phonepart would probably help you. Flashing a phonepart can be risky but I've never had any problems doing so. I always flash under xp. http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-general...-at-the-moment/ You can try these settings before flash and see if one would help. *#1546792*# - (Executes \Windows\AdminSettings.exe) Shows the Administrator Settings menu. In there: 1. Version - Shows a menu where you can access the version numbers for the PDA and the Software (redirects to the Settings Version applet) 2. Preconfiguration - Password is *#81230*#. Allows to preconfigure the Omnia Operator settings by changing the country and operator. Note: Changing this will hard-reset the device. This won't lock the device with the specified operator. 3. Network-Call Setting: >1. Power On Attach: (Attach [default] or Detach) ??? >2. Service Domain: (Combined [default], CS or PS) Changes which service domain to use. >3. Network mode: (Auto [default], GSM or WCDMA) Changes the data connexion mode. WCDMA is 3G. >4. Network order (Auto [default], GSM first, WCDMA first or No change) Changes which mode to try first when connecting, with Network Mode on Auto. 4. Internal - Password is unknown. I'm not sure what it does. *#7465625# - (Executes \Windows\Personalize.exe %LOCK_STATUS_INFO) Shows the status of the Network, Service Provider, SIM or Corporation lock. *#92782# - (Executes \Windows\uamgr.exe) Shows the UA profile settings. *#32489# - (GSM test) Shows the ciphering status and options to enable or disable it. *#2263# - (Executes \Windows\bandsel.exe -band) (GSM test) Shows the GSM band selection screen, with the options Automatic [default], GSM 850, 900, 1800, 1900, 850/190 and 900/1800. *#9090# - (GSM test) UART/USB settings. *#2580# - (GSM test) Integrity settings. *#0228# - (GSM test) Shows the detailed GSM status: Antenna signal power, served network mode, temperature, Battery, Voltage (Antenna ADC test) *#2222# - (GSM test) Shows the FTA hardware version. *#1111# - (GSM test) Shows the FTA software version. *#0011# - (Executes \Windows\TestMode.exe) (GSM test) Shows some more detailed GSM (Basic Information) status.
  17. If ock did something special, there would be a point in making a 6.1 rom because it would be a solid base to build on. Otherwise it would be hard to do better than shokka's 6.1 rom ( admitted m2d v2 doesn't work well in his m2d build ). There hasn't been a significant improvement from 20270 to 21057 but I agree 6.1 is yet the best one for the omnia. Especially if you want to use other programs that are not cooked in. But of course different people, different opinions :(
  18. Did you try 30 sek operator switch ? It interferes with wifi connection to
  19. Seems like you can't access your harddrives correct. I'm afraid the solution would be a hard reset to fix this. Might be some programs you installed interferes with this build. I've seen this access problem before in 6.5 roms and sometimes it occurs and sometimes it doesn't and you may even have to hard reset a couple of times to get it to work. Sry I couldn't give a better solution
