I have a c600, and i have it set up to bluetooth over activesync so I can use it for the internet and activesync around the house. For some reason, today, whenever I have used the internet in PIE over activesync (bluetooth or usb), the page loads, but I get the message "The current connection cannot be used for your request. Please end the current connection and try again." I do not get this message when viewing pages over GPRS, however I cannot log into MSN messenger, I get a "temporary unavailability" message. I just dont know what I can do? =S Its really confusing me, i've not installed anything, or changed any settings, and it was working fine yesterday.

Yes, there is more software for WM2003SE at the moment. But bare in mind, new software is being developed for WM5, you will be left out with a Blue Angel. You may find that you will prefer to use WiFi than EvDo, could be fairly expensive if you exceed limits. But the biggest problem is certainly the new applications are going to be for WM5, and most 2003se apps will work with wm5.

Yeah. I can imagine with the smaller cards and big fingers :) Yeah, but changing cards helps carriers. For example - Orange retail memory cards to people who choose not to pick them up cheeply from MobyMemory. Or perhaps HTC are evil people who want to see people spend money? I can't see size issues. The card readers in the devices aren't massively different in size.

I guess it's possible with some registry tweaking, get PHM Reg Editor www.phm.lu and have a look about. Or somebody who knows could help?

The t-mobile website is not very informative, try ringing them up. They do carry wm5 handsets.

Because ofcourse HTC devices are already amoungst the most power hungry. No, the reason they change memory cards is to keep the memory card market growing. I cant see a huge difference especially in pocket pcs of putting a sd/minisd/microsd in. Its very annoying agreed but its all about money.

I feel that my c600 battery life isn't that great. I charged it up to 100% last night, by this morning it was on 79%, i had no background applications running, nothing. The phone is not set to connect to the internet for any reason. I can't understand it, compared to the c500, this phone's battery is highly unpredictable, it drops 20% in 8 hours of standby time on 5 bars of signal and then other times it goes 8 hours without dropping any percentage. It also seems that the battery runs down more when idle than when I use it =\ Very weird. Any explanations? I might charge it up to 100% and leave it to see if it even comes close to 6 days standby. Any other ways I can benchmark it against other people's? Can anyone comment on their battery life? Update: I charged my battery up at around 2PM, I have only used it for a 2 min phone call, its down to 86% =\

Well, the second and third changes went well and the battery's performance is now a lot better than it was. Thanks all!

I ended up there also, however it was worked out that the only ways to do it is through the registry, which doesnt work after the AKU2 update for the c600. The over the air unlock doesnt work anymore, so it seems that the last resort was to email [email protected]/

So once I run this thing from Orange, I will be able to like install wm5torage? Because I currently can't do this, and the unlocking solution that thread suggested is patches on the AKU2 rom update on my c600.

Ive emailed Orange Developers to get my c600 unlocked as after the AKU2 update it doesnt let you do it through registry entries. I want to know, when I get the app they send me, i've read that it only 'partially' unlocks the phone. What else do I need to do when I get it?
