  1. Bought my first Android phone a few years ago - a T-Mobile Pulse which was great thanks to the scene at Modaco. Currently considering what the next bargain will be! My most memorable drive was arriving in Ottawa with work and picking up a hire car, then navigating the rush-hour traffic - my first time driving a left-hand drive car AND an automatic!
  2. Drop the dual sim, give it 1GB RAM, make sure it's unlockable and sell it as the Orange Ulaanbaatar for £150. They'd sell by the truckload.

    Jiayu G2 Review

Do these Chinese imports have Google Play store support?
  4. Draw Something Granny Smith Asphalt 7: Heat Ocean HD OfficeSuite Pro 6 + (PDF & HD) Tasks
  5. According to it has a burst mode on the camera which can generate "bullet time"-esque animations. Does it actually work?
  6. I'm on a GiffGaff goody-bag so it's not a big deal for me, unless I missed something?
  7. How does the UI responsiveness feel? Is it zippy?
  8. The big question is... "is it £50 better than the Huawei Ascend G300?" Looking at the comparison for your £50 you get... - Larger, higher density screen - 1Gb RAM instead of 512Mb - ICS - Bluetooth 3.0 instead of 2.1 I would love a fuller review/comparison between the two phones. A lot of people will be trying to decide between them.
  9. Thanks for replying. So I guess the best choice for those who want all features including camera and bluetooth is the Chinese ICS or Paul's MCR ROM (when it's released)?
  10. Would rebasing onto the Chinese ICS help with getting features like camera and bluetooth working?
  11. Adobe Flash support? BBC iPlayer working? (thanks for the quick answers - really appreciated!)
  12. I'm considering upgrading from a Gen 1 Orange San Francisco (with the nice AMOLED screen). How would the screen compare to that?
  13. Dammit that was the biggest bug in 1.5 for me :)
