  1. Hey everyone, I've flashed roms before, and never had any issues..I recently received my new nexus one from HTC due to the power button going out. So, I did the one click root method, with no issues....Well, I love Modaco. Been only using their ROMS. Well, I tried to follow the steps for the 22/Oct r24 - MoDaCo Custom ROM Desire Port for Nexus One with Online Kitchen (2.2 / Froyo). I followed the steps to a T! Now I'm stuck with the Nexus X boot screen and thats it. It wont even go to the animation. I can boot into recovery, but my nandroid backup that I did won't restore. I was using ROM MANAGER and using THE CW RECOVERY, but that was giving me issues. So, I used ROM MANAGER AND FLASHED RA's Recovery, and then followed the steps accordingly. Can anyone help me out? I have no clue what to do! please please please...i'm begging someone to be kind enough to help a mate out!! PLEASE ..sorry for the excessive begging but i'm just pissed off...thanks to all who reply!
  2. paul, your paying customers would highly appreciate thi. :-p
  3. Hey Paul, I was wondering if you can incorporate the g2 wifi calling feature in any of your roms? I dont know if this is possible? Thanks for reading this. If you want to see this happen please respond to this post!!!
  4. yea...i did a battery pull and the phone wouldnt power on..it's been doing this off and on for a little bit..it just finally decided to turn back on when i pressed the power again for the bazillionth time . Really frustrating...hopefully there is a work around...I might have to look at selling it, and buy a new device. But do you have any other recommendations? And thank you for the reply to the post!
  5. Hey everyone, My power button just stopped working all of sudden..any way to revive it? Please someone help!! Thanks to all that reply!
  6. Hey MODACO!! I haven't updated my ROM in quite some time..i'm rocking MODACO's custom rom r21 (FRF91). Does anyone have any recommendations for a new ROM. I hear cynogen makes great roms, just dont know the difference between cynogen and modaco. I'm sure dev's have built some amazing ROMS, I just don't know what's out there. So some recommendations would be great! I love my current build. But like all of us, we get bored after awhile. Also, thanks to all who reply to this post...thank you..
  7. Does anyone know where I can find teh NFL mobile live app?? I had once before...but accidentaly deleted it...can someone direct me to where I can find it? Thanks so much in advance!!
  8. Does anyone know where I can find quick office for froyo? I know it comes pre installed with the desire rom, I was just curious if there is any way to have it in the froyo rom? Thanks to all that reply!
  9. thanks for the reply...my phone after the reboot is extremely sluggish...it has nothing to do with the cell network...it freezed and i would have to reboot....i finally got to the main screen, but i just feel something is iffy about this build? idk....i can't connect to 3g at all...if we have tmobile...what should the apn settings be? again thanks for your help...really not sure wtf is going on ...
  10. Having the same exact issues..please let me know if u find a fix....what carrier do you have?
  11. okay so...i followed these steps: Instructions for flashing Paul's pre-rooted FroYo ROM. Instructions hold true for ANY custom ROM (MCR, Cyanogen, Desire etc) 1. Copy Paul's pre-rooted FroYo update.zip (from here) to the root of your SD Card. 2. Boot into recovery (Preferably at least Amon Ra 1.6.2 or newer/equivalent) 3. Make a nandroid backup (+ext if you use it) 4. Wipe data+cache, Battery Stats and Rotate settings 5. Flash Paul's Pre-Rooted FroYo ROM. 6. Reboot. 7. Wait for the radio update to finish & return to recovery. 8. Reboot again. 9. Enjoy 2.2. When I was in the initial setup...my phone was freezing tremendously, and really acting like 20mhz processor not a 1ghz processor. I was using the the a21 rom, and followed the instructions above. I currently have tmobile in the US and use the wap settings as wap.voicestream.com. I'm not getting 3g just edge. Does the flash 10.1 come pre installed with this build i downloaded? bc i had to try to dl it through the market. When you restart the phone, when you get to the nexus animation, it runs really slow for 2 seconds then goes to the main desktop page. Do you all think I messed something up when I flashed the rom. I followed the above instruction to the T on this. The only thing I can think of is when I got to step 6 and it rebooted into recovery it said formatting cache. And just stayed there....i then rebooted and everything screwy happened (just a note, i left the phone untouched for 5 hours and it said formatting cache after step 6's reboot.) can someone please help me...or tell me what the hell I'm doing wrong....i feel like i have a froyo that is melted  PLEEEEEEEEAAASSSSSSEEEEE SOMEONE HEEEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!
  12. sooo...i got to step 6...when it rebooted it rebooted automatically in to recovery...and at the bottom it says Build : RA nexus-v1.7.0 Formatting Cache... so should i goto reboot again for step 7? or keep letting it format the cache? its been formatting for like 20 min...please someone help!! hope i'm not freaking out over nothing...am i missing something? do i just reboot? ugh..so confused....it's been formatting cache for 20min + QUOTE(stevenz @ May 22 2010, 20:21) Instructions for flashing Paul's pre-rooted FroYo ROM. To return to a stock (but rooted) 2.1 ROM replace steps 1. & 5. with these steps instead: 1. Download the EPF21B update.zip from here and copy that to the root of the SD card too. 5. Flash the EPF21B update.
