    high capacity battery

Doing good. Getting about 10 hours extra out of the 1700. Worth the money if you ask me. No decrease in duration. Same as when new if not better. After the 5th or 6th charge it went from about 8 hours extra to 10, and now it's steady.

    Major Problems with Android Market!

I had a similar issue. This fixed it for me. http://www.androidpolice.com/2011/04/19/fi...lem-on-android/

    high capacity battery

I ordered one of these 1700 from Mugen: http://www.mugen-power-batteries.com/mugen...b525-bravo.html Once I get it in I will give some results. I have good faith in Mugen. I'm using a 1500 from them in my Desire HD, and it works as it should, lasting well over 24 hours on one charge where the stock 1230 only lasted me around 15 or so hours with the same use.

    WLAN/Mobile-Data Both On Simultaneously

Just recently pick a Defy up, and after the second day, I get the same thing. Both symbols are showing in the status bar. Only by turning off Wi-Fi, and then turning it back on, does it show only one at a time. Doesn't seem to interfere with operations, but I would like to know why it does it.
  5. Not sure if this will help anyone here since I'm on T-Mo US, but I had an issue where I could receive MMS, but not send them. It took me six hours, but I figured it out. I tried so many things I can't even remember. Deleted all, add three at once, modified things. The end result was still no sending of MMS. My last try I reset everything back to default, and I was checking all fields, and noticed the "MMSC" field said "null". Well from looking over so many different configurations I noticed almost all of them showed the MMSC had "mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc", so out of desperation I changed "null" to that, and BOOM, it worked. I now have all things working like they should. Maybe that field could be used for your network? I'm using the default messaging app by the way on the Desire HD. If this has nothing to do with what you're talking about then sorry. :-) EDIT- Oh, and I'm talking about modifying the default APN. Sorry if that wasn't obvious.

Can't send pictures by text message.

SOLVED. It took me six hours, but I figured it out. I tried so many things I can't even remember. Deleted all, add three at once, modified things. The end result was still no sending of MMS. 7. I can receive text messages with pictures just fine, but if I try to send them, I get the "failed after several attempts" and the message just sits there with the envelope and clock icon in the upper right corner. I tried through the default messaging app, and through ChompSMS. Is anyone else having a problem sending pictures through text messages?

    No wifi

Usually when that happens to me it's my router I need to unplug to reset. After that all works again.
  9. Great news. I ordered mine Oct 1st, so I should be in that shipment also. Can't wait!

    Proximity sensor issue.

It's the opposite. Once the screen goes black, it won't come back on. The only way to fix it (other than the OTA) is to pull the battery, or stick the headphones in.
  11. Or maybe Vodafone shipped some by accident? Anyway I'm not trying to call anyone out, but I just want mine already. Darn Google/HTC! :)
  12. That's actually an incorrect statement. Vodafone customers have received theirs late last week. They have been putting them through some tests, and sharing with others over at xda. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=809322

    Desire HD on USA T-Mobile???

It will work in the USA for cell and data, but the regular data will be 2G, not 3G since the frequecies are different. On an upside the 2G speeds you will get will be around 500 KBPS. The natural speed of the device will make it work well even on 2G. I have an N1 right now, and in my area on 2G I get speeds of 200 KBPS, and that is more than enough for what I do. I mostly use Wi-Fi anyway, so I only hit 2G once and a while when I'm out somewhere without Wi-Fi. Another plus is I'm pretty sure we will get HSPA speeds with it, so that will be awesome (assuming you live in an area with HSPA turned on like me (Orlando, Florida)).
  15. Every time I looked up costs to convert all the places showed it as £488.79, and they converted it from EURO to USD. That was only the fist choice of conversion, so I should have paid closer attention. You are correct. Sorry if I confused anyone. Still it is worth it for me. I can't wait to get it! All hail DHD!
