  1. I've noticed with the UV Kernel the device is very unresponsive after being in sleep mode or standby, is there a way to avoid this ?, thanks
  2. I am using my GN in the US with AT&T with a 4G Data Plan, what's the best Radio ?, thanks
  3. On the notifications menu at the bottom I use to have ATT and now I have @@Y is there a way to change this ?, thanks
  4. I am having the same problem, did you have an SD card installed with an ext4 or ext3 partition ?, try: - Removing the card - Remove the ext3 / ext4 partition leave only a FAT32 partition Try booting again, thanks
  5. I built a ROM (using the kitchen) with the App2SD+ option, then I formatted the SD card with a 2GB ext4 partition and the phone will not boot, it will get stuck at the boot screen with the Lock, unlocked. If I get rid of the ext4 partition and install an only FAT32 SD card it will boot fine, any idea what could be the problem ?, thanks
  6. Hi, I am using Froyo 2.2 (FRF50) and I am looking for an App or Widget to turn ON/OFF the Wireless HotSpot from the Home Screen, today the only option I know is by going into Settings --> Wireless & Networks --> Tethering & Portable Hotspot --> Portable Wi-Fi hotspot, thanks
  7. Thanks, I already installed Flash, I am looking for some test web sites to see how flash works,
  8. What is the correct configuration for the SD Card to be able to fully utilize the new Froyo 2.2 feature to store applications in the SD card: - Only FAT32 - FAT32 and ext 2 ? - FAT32 and ext 3 ? - FAT32 and ext 4 ? Any recommendation on the size of the ext partition ? Where is located the Mount Point where the applications are stored in the SD Card ?, what directory should I look for ?, thanks
  9. I did try to force the update with the code but nothing, I only get a Triangle in the status/menu bar with the message "checkin result, success", but nothing else
  10. I followed the instructions in the following thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=614850 And after the installation I got Build ERD79 (original shipping ROM), almost immediately I got the OTA update to 2.1-update 1 and now my device has the build ERE27 (official update). That means if you go back to Stock ROM and Recovery, the OTA process should work fine.
  11. I am running the Modaco Stock ROM Kitchen "10/May ERD79 -> EPF21B - Stock ROM for Nexus One images / zip / online kitchen (optional root / insecure / himem)": http://android.modaco.com/content/google-n...insecure-himem/ - ROM = Stock EPE54B - BOOT = SuperBoot with Himem - RECOVERY = Amon_Ra's Nexus One Recovery 1.7 - The FROYO 2.2 OTA will work automatically ? - Do I have to go back to the STOCK Recovery image ? - Do I have to go back to the STOCK Boot image ? - If I get the OTA can I save it as OTA.ZIP and then from the Amon's Recovery do Update from Zip ? Thanks

  13. After I installed back the Stock ROM on my unlocked Nexus One, I got (within the next 15 min) and OTA update for 2.1-Update 1, and worked fine, so why I shouldn't get the OTA for 2.2 ?
  14. Option 1: If I go back and install just the Stock Recovery image will work ?, or I have to install the Stock Boot image as well ?, I would like to keep the Boot image becasue of the HIMEM option activated. Option 2: If, when I will get the OTA Download option (I am running Stock ROM, so I should get it later today) I do save it to the SD card, and then rename it as Update.zip, boot with the Recovery 1.7 tool and install/update from there, the update will work ?
