  1. You could always just use a VPN with good encryption.
  2. Or if you're looking from the "stealing data" pov, it's like talking in your phone in a public place about something confidential (no encryption), or trying to be safe and talking in a non-native language (WEP).
  3. Using WEP is almost like using nothing, anybody can just pop up a laptop with airdump+aircrack+wireshark and steal your data in minutes...
  4. Should this include Finnish translations? Choosing "Suomi" from the settings changes nothing, but for example Spanish works? Are the translations of the original 2.1 rom even compatible with this one?
  5. The age old fix, reboot both and try again ;) Sometimes the adb daemon keeps running but hangs, so it won't detect anything. So either reboot or kill adb by running "adb kill-server", if that doesn't help, then "killall -9 adb". To see if adb is running "ps x | grep adb | grep -v grep" (or look at the Activity Monitor).
  6. That's most likely because you haven't enabled USB debugging from your phones settings.
  7. I'm using http://www.mediafire.com/?acm42n3567zjdo7 Before flashing, remember to push the bcm4329.ko file manually to /system/lib/modules to get wlan working. just ./adb push whereyouextractedthezipandlocatedthefile/bcm4329.ko /system/lib/modules/
  8. That's actually caused by the Kernel. You've got three options: either wait for the next version, downgrade to a working version or install intersectRaven's latest Kernel over your rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=653598

  10. MY EARS THEY HURT SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You should see as the kernel: 2.6.35.4-BFS-intersectR
  11. Sorry, missed that, too many posts. It would still be nice to get this integrated to the build...
