  1. So does anybody still use their Pulse 10 years on? Or does anybody have any fond memories of the device that they would like to share?
  2. Back in October 2009, T-Mobile released the very first pay-as-you-go Android smartphone in the UK priced at just £185. At this time this was big news since it enabled many consumers that were simply unable or unwilling to take out a contract to get their hands on a smartphone running the - at the time - new Android operating system from Google. Here at MoDaCo we credit the T-Mobile Pulse as being a kind of catalyst that started Android modding off in a big way. Whilst previous Android devices allowed users to tinker with the operating system and make changes, the high cost of the handsets meant that it was reserved really for the hardcore nerds and geeks of the world. The Pulse - a rebranded Huawei U8220 - put the world of Android into the hands of normal people who dipped their toes into the new and exciting world of Android and modding. Personally, I have a lot to owe to this little device and the community here. I made a lot of new friends, I gained a lot of valuable skills which I use some of them with my day job (thanks to all the tools needing Linux back them), and it grow my interest in smartphones and technology in general. 10 years later I'm still a user of Huawei devices with a P30 Pro, although sadly the days of modding are long gone due to locked bootloaders. So it's a good time to say happy 10th birthday to the T-Mobile Pulse / Huawei U8220!
  3. Looks like we're just having posts made in the feedback group. https://www.modaco.com/forums/forum/829-feedback-id/
  4. Bought from Tesco Mobile on 15th May 2018 and has been used in a case ever since. Phone is running EU C432 firmware (faster updates), fully factory unlocked for all networks. No operator software installed, it's completely stock! Phone was purchased through an anytime contract which has been paid off. Proof of this can be provided on request. Condition of the device is pretty much mint. I take very good care of my devices. This has never been dropped so no chips, marks, scratches etc. Device has warranty with Tesco Mobile until 14th May 2020. Will throw in all the cases that I bought over the past year for the P20. My personal favourite is the Nillkin Frosten Shield slim case, but you may prefer something different. Plenty of cases to choose from! Phone is in it's original box with original Huawei Supercharger, USB-C cable, headphone adapter and USB-C earbuds (unused). £250 including insured postage sent using Royal Mail special delivery. PayPal or bank transfers accepted.
  5. I'll send my details in a private message to you now. Thank you.
  6. Hi, yes this is still available.
  7. SOLD Boxed "The C64 Mini" games machine. Basically a modern version of the old Commodore 64 with 63 built in games, built in basic mode for programming. Comes with USB joystick and supports USB keyboards for typing (unit itself has a non-functional keyboard). Looking for £45 inc UK postage. Paypal or bank transfer.
  8. The auction photos make them look dodgy but I can confirm they are completely legitimate chargers. I bought mine on the 12th of September and paid the basic £1.99 postage. Arrived in the UK on the 18th and I received it on the 22nd of September. You can get free delivery but it had an ETA of a month and I didn't want to wait that long!
  9. Shouldn't be any issues with the OTA updates but please don't apply them to a device that has been rooted, unrooted or even had custom recovery installed. Revert to a pure stock ROM then update one after the other. Added MD5 checksums to the files. Check with an app like hashtab
  10. Thank you. This looks to be a widespread issue which Honor are now aware about.
  11. I have been informed that installing the Marshmallow BETA updates on devices that haven't officially joined the beta will prevent you from obtaining future updates unless they are also leaked. As some users have also bricked their devices by not following instructions we have removed the links to the updates from the forum. Files can still be obtained from other forums and used at your own risk.
  12. Was your device rooted or did you have custom recovery installed? Does Volume Up + POWER take you into recovery?
