  1. Neither. I can't understand why would you interprete that way. Look at master twu2's reply which is much more proffessional. Did he think I accused him as a liar? NO!!! If you look at Sinan and shark's rom, they are trying to get the most RAM, that is my goal too. I guess that little tiny keyboard may play a bit role to save the resources, I maybe wrong. Each ROM has it's advantages, can't say one is better than the other or which cooker is better because they have different approaches. Can't compare oranges with apples. It's funny that lead you to comment that "I think" sinan and sharks are better cookers. Personally, I like master twu2's ROM the most simply because he romoved most of the SAMSUNG stuff and at the same time provided all cabs so that people can have choices. I think it's pointless to continue this debat because master twu2 already provided appropriate answer. You take care.
  2. Another thing, like it or not, I believe the Windows default keyboard would always be there, just like the phone dialer.
  3. You still don't get what I am talking about. compare the resources used by little tiny windows default keyboard and the one comes with the ROM, which one occupies more resources if you are not going to use them anyways? Why would Sina and Shark include this useless keyboard in their rom?
  4. That keyboard is useless but also occupies the least resources. I don't use any Samsung keyboards, because I use third party ones for specific purposes. To have Samsung heavy weight keyboard is just waste of resources in this case.
  5. That's not true. Windows comes with a tiny keyboard. Look at Shark's ROM and Sinna's ultra lite ROM.
  6. Thanks twu2, have been waiting for so long. Any reason you chose JG2, not most recent JH1? or even JG5 etc? If possible, could you pls take the keyboard out next time and provide cab instead? Again, thanks for sharing. Very much appreciated.
  7. Thanks Shark. can you make a lite version like twu2's but with keyboard out please? I saw touchplayer in your app archive, can I just copy these to windows directory ? will this work?
  8. Hi shark, thanks for your hard work. One last request, can you provide touch player cab or tell us which files are needed and put where get touch player work? twu2's cabs don't include touch player. I guess the Samsung touch player is the most power economic one. Thanks again. Great effort.
  9. Hi Shadow, thank you very much for your ROM. I am using it, so far so good. Very fast and didn't find anything wrong, at least till now. I am going to stick to this for a while. Next time, could you please make a ultra lite ROM with as much as possible RAM? Currently, I disabled the Samsung dialer in order to get more RAM. I'd appreciate it if you could take the keyboard out (I mean the input keyboard, not the dialer) because I have my own. Again, thanks for your great job, the best ROM so far. The advantage of this ROM: 1. Good memory management, I don't have significant memory leak. I am using SPB MS + MobileSense, it start with 68M RAM and after whole day, it stays above 60M 2. I changed the PP to 12M. Very fast, basically there's no hesitation during transition. 3. Everything works, never had lockup problem 4. Very fast satellite lock. Within 30s constantly. 5. Battery life is very good. Light use can last one week. Again, wonderful job Shadow!

  11. I agree. That will be the ROM I am looking for. I like TWU2's ROM, if the keyboard can be ripped off, that would be better because I have my own keyboard to suit my purpose.
  12. Gary, did you check the Metafolder in common area? That's what other people missing when they get this error message.
  13. I found below problems: 1. Long press diamond button hang. This is caused by malfunction of Task Switcher of this ROM. I changed that to Task Manager and it worked fine. 2. Every time I restart the device, a message box popup telling about Morscript, it's annoying. I deleted the file from startup folder and stopped this. 3. Every time I launch Internet Explorer, an error message popup and complaining can't find the blank page. I have to hit cancel button to ignore this, annoying. 4. The market place, MSN Money and MSN weather not working. After launch, I got a blank screen and nothign happened. I installed the market place again and it worked. Please note, I use Wifi only. Other than the above, there are a couple of minor glitches I forget. But overall, a good ROM with plenty of RAM, support other languages surprisingly well. JF5 resolved some annoying glitches in JE ROM, the GPS lock speed is very fast. Hopefully Gary can perfect this one by resolving above problems. Thanks for share your good work with community.
