  4. good thing r9 and r10 wip were both completely erased as they were just completely screwed! with Fr11 now everything looks like it is back to normal... with r9 i had my SD card down to 2/4 MB/s now with Fr11 it is running with 8/8 MB/s again still, the following is not fully functional: - i selected gingerbread keyboard and it is installed but it will not work - i am missing the RESTART (reboot, recover, etc) option in the shutdown menu looking forward to gingerbread :D
  5. well, guess how i came up with the topic in the first place... but i figure i screw my MDC ROM even better by just applying this patch and seriously - I have been reading how to dissasemble/assemble boot.img and modifying init.rc that I really don't want to do this... just wondered if no one else has this problem just accepting the r9 as it is - - - i have a couple bugs here with the r9 and think they are not only but also related to the management of the android OS: when connecting USB through MODACO r9: read: 2.541 MB/s write: 0.375 MB/s when connecting USB through ClockWorkMod recovery: read: 12.90 MB/s write: 4.590 MB/s when connecting directly through PC SDHC Card Slot: read: 10.57 MB/s write: 7.666 MB/s thanks for your support!
  6. how come this r9 rom still has the SDHC CARD BUG: read ahead kb = 4 is the r10 fixed? thanks for your support
  7. well, let's say whenever i usb plug my "beautiful widget" goes back to factory layout otherwise everything else stays just fine before when using the android native app2sd i crashed most of my widgets when connecting usb... could it be some CPU Tuner or else widget is fooling around with the mounting?? i can broiwse through all folders and even listen to the mp3 on my phone via PC it only seems to crash when i try to copy something to the phone SDHC... actually if i see that right its not disconnecting but just plain slow... (400kb/s)? still blazing fast by direct recovery mount of the SDHC any idea? anything screwing with the transfer speed (sequential r/w): when connecting USB through MODACO r9: read: 2.541 MB/s write: 0.375 MB/s when connecting USB through ClockWorkMod recovery: read: 12.90 MB/s write: 4.590 MB/s when connecting directly through PC SDHC Card Slot: read: 10.57 MB/s write: 7.666 MB/s thanks for your support!
  8. dear team, i currently have the following setup: htc desire modaco r9 a2sd+ kingston class10 16gb partitioned when i connect to my PC for sync via USB my PC keeps constantly loosing the connection as if something in the ROM turns USB on/off making any sync impossible i have no problems at all if i mount the SDHC with my recovery image via USB to my PC... with a2sd+ is it even possible to use USB data transfer anymore? does the phone "eject" the whole SDHC or just the FAT32 partition??? what is a2sd good if i can sync only by WIFI - i have tons of music on my phone... :P thanks for your support! best, alwin
  9. after install of A2SD+ Modaco r9 from kitchen cpu tuner tells me the following: ondemand: not working (min/max freq write failure) performance: not working (min/max freq write failure) suggests: flash a new kernel/ROM reinstall won't do any good (r9 or cpu tuner) experience lags and freezes with a lot of tasks i kicked all cpu tweak options from the kitchen - no use cpu tuner has root&superuser rights thanks for your support
  10. thanks for your support! just did as you said and worked even though I used Win7 Minitool Partition Wizard great community! best
  11. hey guyz, thanks for your support. obviously a problem induced by my first attempt to partition the SD card with cyanogen recovery now i did it with win7 minitool partition wizard and now it works like a charm ;) (already saw the ext3 "used space" growing) just one question more obviously i unselelected my favorite SMS and keyboard tool in the kitchen - how can i reinstall those andoird/htc OS features easily? should i just reinstall the ROM with those features added? thanks for your support!
  12. ok, finally decided to go for app2sd+ as i have a 16gb class10 sdcard from kingston i partioned my sd to an ext3 with 1024mb and flashed r9 image funny thing is that i now happen to have 140mb of free system memory (75mb before app2sd+ image) i am just wondering how to activate the ext3 partition since then as well I have trouble with constantly loosing the USB connection with my sdcard - never had this before happening... any ideas? thanks for your support!
  13. HTC DESIRE with modaco rom r9 after upgrade from r6 (all settings&apps kept) i had just 5mb of system ram left right now (system&cache swipe in recovery) i have just 74MB left i think that should be far more - how to just blow the whole thing away and do a clean install of modaco rom r9? whenever I swipe system&cache the r9 will still boot up and go through "first setup" of the phone btw: I unselected most options from the kitchen (ZIP file has 151MB) thanks for your support

  15. hey bpivk, no use so far as all app cache is empty and most of the apps use SD as cache i am just wonderung if the small memory of the HTC Desire is not useful for most state of the art high profile ROMs? I am thinking about the HTC Desire HD still mine is one of the few actualy having OLED... best daniel can anyone tell how to calculate the required space of a MODACO ROM (r9 w/ SENSE in my case) w/ some options
