  1. So is no oe going to post a review? I wonder why this section of the forum is not popular - I thought this was one of the best phones right now/
  2. I agree for a sub forum too, and anyone whose topics are not named properly should be renamed by a mod.
  3. I want to ask about an unrelated phone but this seems one of the most active sections on the website so I'll ask here.
  4. I would like to know the best deals out there for around £15 a month. I'm on Orange and can upgrade but Orange.co.uk don't have the HTC Desire Z, although I have seen it on other websites but not as upgrades (unless I pay £25 a month) so I could take a new contract out on Orange for £15 a month. I want to use giffgaff so another cheaper deal I found was £10 a month on o2 (but not from the o2 website) and like the above, I would have to pay extra for the phone, which I don't mind. I don't want to be paying more for a contract, as I don't want to be tied into a contract like that. I was thinking of getting the o2 deal as the phone is unlocked anyway, and then offering it for £5 a month to a member of family and paying the rest of the £5 myself so I can get giffgaff for £10 a month. Anyway, so I would like your views on the phones. I have read many good things but a few days ago I started seeing reviews like difficulty of putting the phone down when ending a call (I guess you have to press something on the screen like other touch screens) but is there a way to give a button on the keyboard the ability to end a call? That doesn't bother me, but I also read about sending texts. People have been saying it takes ages for a text to send, and you can't go away from the sending text screen or it won't send. Is that true or were they perhaps confused as to how to use the phone? Good/negative eedback about the phone would help.
  5. Update: Went to the post office to try Airsure and they asked "it isn't a mobile phone is it?" I suppose that means they don't allow mobile phones to be sent in this way? It is fully trackable even within Europe. But can they check what is inside if I sent it like that?
  6. I think I will go ahead with Royal Mail. As long as I get the signature. The other options seem way to expensive.
  7. Is Interparcel reliable? I took a look at Interparcels and found the following: Express Services Interparcel Standard £20.00 + VAT Fedex Priority £35.30 + VAT DHL EU Express £35.65 + VAT Interparcel Express £37.00 + VAT Standard Services DHL Europlus £16.00 + VAT DPD Classic £18.00 + VAT Fedex Economy £20.50 + VAT Interparcel Express Saver £35.00 + VAT What would be a good option from above? I only asked for £15 for postage.
  8. I am checking parcel2go and will visit the post office tomorrow hopefully. Flumpster, which one did you end up going with when you posted. Actually just reread your post. I suppose ypu haven't sent them yet.
  9. I can't find the old thread (removed?) but I am posting phones to Europe. What's the best and most secure way to do so, with tracking possibly? I read Royal Mail is not all that for things worth over £41. What are the other options?
  10. I know this sounds lazy but could someone tell me the dimension of the box for the phone and its accessories please? I can't find something so simple like a ruler!
  11. How much does it weigh in box, packaged. I had a receipt for sending one to a friend earlier but lost it so forgot the total weight.
