    My Blade V setup

Yeah, deleting is probably better on this phone as you'll free up a bit more space from data by the system apps data being deleted. The main advantage of freezing is it remembers the apps you don't want when you upgrade the rom which is handy if you're using CM nightlies but not on a phone where there are no custom roms to be upgrading to. I'm going to have to have another play with xposed, I couldn't get Gravitybox to work last time I tried.

    HELP Blade v memory

apk is the file extension for androids applications. So an apk is basically any android program. Titanium does all sorts of stuff related to your aforementioned apk's. backups, deleting them, freezing them (disabling them) moving them between system/data/sd card. To be honest it's most useful for backup your stuff before switching rom and then restoring which isn't much use on this phone as we have no custom roms!

    App List Blade V

I'm from the UK. No-one has used an FM radio here in a decade. But as the post says "All of these are safe to disable but obviously don't disable stuff you use" :)

    App List Blade V

The apps are on the system partition and user apps go on the data partition. You will free up some space on data by removing system apps as those system apps data will also be removed. The main advantage of removing them is to free up RAM and generally not be bugged by stuff you don't want. Technically you can put user apps in system if you wanted but there are better solutions for getting more data space - like using ext partitions.

    HELP Blade v memory

If you have root, you can remove system apps using something like titanium. Or you can disable them from settings -> apps without root You can move apps between internal and external from settings -> Apps Not all apps can be moved by default though you can change this by installing terminal emulator from the play store and entering: su pm set-install-location 2 don't move your default keyboard or launcher though.

    App List Blade V

Here's my lists. I think I'm a little more aggressive in what I delete. I like barebones. :) Can delete: http://forums.thedigitalfix.com/forums/showpost.php?p=9911811&postcount=147 Might be able to delete but I use them so I haven't tried: http://forums.thedigitalfix.com/forums/showpost.php?p=9911813&postcount=148 Don't delete*: http://forums.thedigitalfix.com/forums/showpost.php?p=9911818&postcount=149 *You can actually take out messaging if your replacement apps has the appropriate option to completely replace it.

    Kernel Source request from ZTE

We've had the source for ages. What we don't seem to have are any devs that own the phone.

[How To] Swapping the internal and external SD cards

From terminal emulator you can use su pm set-install-location 2 to allow you to move anything to SD. Don't move your launcher, keyboard or any app whose widget you use though. I've got 195 user apps on there so far with no need for an ext partition yet.

[How To] Swapping the internal and external SD cards

This is probably the easiest way but isn't the way I did mine so I can't much help with it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1886460 This is how I did mine: http://forums.thedigitalfix.com/forums/showpost.php?p=9908955&postcount=91 which is a more detailed write up of KonstaT's original guide but seeks to avoid some issues that may trip people up such as ZTE's driver not working properly.

    custom roms?

Konsta never had a Blade V. He kindly compiled us a CWM despite not even owning the phone!

    Nope.

    custom roms?

Not sure. I'm fairly content with stock myself. I'd like it a lot if we could repartition the phone - have the data partition take some of the internal SD as I don't use it due to having them swapped. No idea how feasible that is. But that's about it.

    custom roms?

Not that I know of. It appears all of 9 people downloaded my half hearted attempt to provide a CWM update to official 2.1. :D

no push notifications - wifi & 3G signal always grey

Do you actually have a problem or just a cosmetic issue? In my own testing and in the post before your latest one it seems it actually functions correctly - just shows the icon the wrong colour.

[How To] Swapping the internal and external SD cards

if you go to settings -> apps -> manage apps. scroll to the right and make sure every app is unticked (so none are on sd card) then I can;t see why it wouldn't work. And you can quickly reverse it again anyway now you have CWM. :)

[How To] Swapping the internal and external SD cards

ZTE's drivers don't work in fastboot. There's a more detailed guide to installing CWM here: http://forums.thedigitalfix.com/forums/showpost.php?p=9908955&postcount=91 If you're willing to reinstall the rom then it should be sufficient to just reinstall 2.1 I would imagine you could also adb push the stock file to the phone (after extracting it from my zip or a stock rom image) but I've never actually done that and I'm too drunk to work it out right now!

[How To] Swapping the internal and external SD cards

This should undo the swap from CWM: http://blade.windows98.co.uk/downloads/bladev-undo-swap-sd.zip Then if you move all your apps internal and repeat the swap it should be OK.

    Auto Brightness

As with the Blade 1, it's not awesome on this phone. And ofc with no CM or other custom rom we have no way to configure it. I found this app today which works much better than the built in auto brightness: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.velis.auto.brightness and you can choose from various presets or manually configure it. I like the oled dim preset but there are several to choose from and you can customise your own.

    Volume Boost

'Gravity Box' (recommended here: http://www.modaco.com/topic/365621-battery-percentage/?p=2163718 ) has listed in its features "Option to control safe headset media volume"

[How To] Swapping the internal and external SD cards

I suspect it needs done on a fresh phone. I got the same media error after updating the firmware which would have reverted the sd card swap. This was why I created the CWM version so you can immediately swap it again after the update and before it boots and errors. So unless you're careful to make sure no apps are moved to sd before doing this, you would probably need to wipe data.
