  1. Is that true that Aura has its own GPS drivers and do not use the OS GPS driver?
  2. OK, now it works like a charm, I've rebuilt the ROM step-by-step, tested after each modification and now it works, however I still do not know what the hell was going on. Thank you anyway for your support!
  3. Thanks. I have just restarted modifying the base rom and ATM it seems to be working fine for me too. I'm followin the same steps as before...

  5. Are you sure that /cache is a tmpfs? What does the mount command tell you? Then it seems that it is not worth to keep myself busy with :) Thank you for your help anyway.
  6. Thanks for the info. Is there a way to extract from an lzma archive?

  8. OK, here's what I did: [email protected]:~/dsixda-Android-Kitchen-e6e8ff5# ./unpack.pl boot.img #script from link found on web Could not find any embedded ramdisk images. Are you sure this is a full boot image? 9. Hi! I mounted the /cache as tmpfs to quicken things but I just noticed that market won't download anything. It seems to start downloading, the DL icon flashes several times and then disappears. When I remount cache as yaffs everything is fine again. On Swedish Spring R3. Script in post_boot.sh: umount /cache mount -t tmpfs -o size=42M,nr_inodes=42k,mode=0770 tmpfs /cache chown system.cache /cache Any suggestions?
  10. I followed the link in the 2nd post but neither method worked. # gzip -dc boot.img-ramdisk.gz | cpio -i gzip: boot.img-ramdisk.gz: not in gzip format cpio: premature end of archive
  11. Hi, I wanted to add init.d feature to SS3/4 but the kitchen I use (dsixda) was unable to work with the boot.img. I sucessfully split the image into ramsdisk and kernel images however this did not lead to anywhere. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.
  12. Thanks for the answer. Would that explain why 600 is the max with other ROMs or why the governor changes every time I change CPU speeds?
  13. Hi! Is there a way to set default CPU settings. I mean the current setting is 604Mhz with ondemand governor, and no matter how hard I try I can't make it back to 600 with ondemand. Every time I manage to set 600 it switches to performance governor... (I also asked this question in the 'official' R4 topic but so far got no attention...)
  14. Why can't I set CPU max to 600 with ondemand governor? It switches back to 604 and performance. Please make an update script or help me!
