  1. I sussed it Tibby. My wife just got one of these phones, later revision than mine (April instead of February) at first I thought it may have been a later revision issue but it isn't. What you have to do is actually install the official leak of Acer 2.3.4 Gingerbread on your phone first, then retry Vache Recovery 2.2 Installation, it then works, you can then go ahead and install the Gingerounay custom version. Here is the link to the Official Acer 2.3.4 Rom, just unzip that folder to your SD card and follow the instructions from this link. Once that is installed go ahead with installing Vache Recovery 2.2. http://android.modaco.com/topic/345275-leak234-acer-liquidmt-302701-emea-gen1-032701/
  2. Hopefully this community should start growing even more. Expansys UK have just had a sell off of their stocks (why they were getting rid of them I don't know) of the Acer Liquid MT for just £149 GBP (I Bought One) bargain price, they sold out fast.
  3. But if you have a totally unresponsive screen trying any ROM other than stock, you cannot even turn on the draw a pattern to unlock option! :D
  4. Thing is, I have B20 software and the touchpad doesn't work after custom rom flash, whereas the userof2 above had B20 and custom rom flash does. Whether this software version is new or not, doesn't seem like its a variable to cause all touchpads of revision B10 phones to touchpad freeze when custom rom is installed.
  5. Many thanks for your hard work on this rom Flibble, it was my rom of choice since having the phone in January, I hope you continue to support the ZTE Blade community with your technical expertise in whatever area, this community is brilliant all thanks to both the technical wizards and a very grateful user base.
  6. You are not alone, search on this very rom & rom customisation thread for problems with the newest revision phone B10, quite a number of people are having problems (myself included attempting to flash my fathers phone). Seems certain B10 phones currently do not like custom roms, maybe an incompatibility with the touchscreen driver..as yet there is no fix, and I am not even sure if anyone is working on it. Hopefully you backed up your stock rom in order to be able to return to it. It may be useful to post in one of the B10 threads your findings about your phone when you do.
  7. Just checked my fathers, exactly the same baseband, kernal, build and software version as yourself, only difference is the preemp date of Tue Jan 25 same time though! 10:13:29 CST 2011 Tried both Swedish Spring R3, and FLB 10B...both lock touchscreen on boot.
  8. Sadly hasn't worked for my fathers, tried both FLB 10B and Swedish Rom both just lock the touchscreen. When you say hold vol up and reboot, do you continue holding vol up through the whole boot process to the main screen? Did you reboot from the power on button or from recovery manager doing this? Appreciate any further info about this process to try, thanks.
  9. Another one with the touchscreen problem here. I am totally accustomed to rom flashing myself, owning an older OLED one myself (Grey), and my wifes a slightly newer revision TFT (White) both of which no problems. My father recently bought one of which he has given me today to flash, and surprise it is a new B10 revision Glass :LEAD, installed clockwork mod no problem, flashed both FLB and the new Swedish rom, both failing on the touchscreen problem. Restore to original Orange rom (made a backup), and no problem.

  11. Nice one with the insults, still dont see how after I posted I got it from Very.com (for £99) you mention it is available from Additions direct for cheaper, now can you see where the confusion arises.....no? If you were referring to the OP buying it from Littlewoods for more than the rest of the Shop Direct Group, then you should not have quoted my paragraph! Nice friendly forum we have here I see after just a couple of posts, I have someone calling me an idiot for no apparant reason.
  12. When I ordered a grey one it was on their websites and showing as in stock, and was despatched and delivered in 2 days. Now the grey one has been removed from the websites and only the White showing as available (although they have the picture of the grey phone advertising) and that one actually currently states "delivery within 14 days" which was confirmed by email when my wife ordered it last night. Hope that information is clear enough to clarify  Very.co.uk White San Francisco
  13. What on earth are you waffling on about, same company only cheaper? It was £99 when available in Grey, it is still £99 with it currently being only available in White at all of the Shop Direct Home Shopping Group companies, Marshall Ward, Very, Additions, Littlewoods etc etc. I ordered from Very and managed to use a coupon code for £30 off a £60 spend coupon code and got it for £69 + £3.95 delivery, ordered 3 days ago when they still had the Grey in stock, at that price an absolute steal! As of now, the Grey whilst out of stock has been pulled from the Shop Direct websites, the white whilst showing is also currently out of stock, although they are expecting a delivery, my wife has just ordered one this evening with an estimated 14 days delivery.
  14. Had mine delivered today from Very.com (Same Shop Group) also was B05 OLED, now notice that the Shop Group are out of stock of the grey ones altogether, seems they must have had some old stocks lurking around. If you unlock you unlock, you will be able to use any sim within it.
