  1. Hey all, Sorry it's been a while since I've last posted, I've been trying to create a Simple version of CM7, and it's presented a lot of hassle. I'm also here to deliver yet more bad news - I might be moving away from the Blade in the near future. Although the Blade's been a nice handset in terms of software to be on, I just miss the way a quality handset felt, like my old HTC Diamond (although the software was terrible). I also, after using a family member's iPhone 4S extensively, and WP7 devices, find myself feeling that Android lacks the slick smoothness that both of these alternatives offer (even on high end phones such as the Sensation). As a result, I'll be switching to either an iPhone 4 or a Samsung Omnia 7 when I have the cash available. Sorry for the bad news again guys, depending on when I choose to switch I might release a Simple build of CM7 (if I can get it to work) or Libra Gingerbread if I get the time. As my Blade's power button and USB port are beginning to fail, even though it's an OLED model, it's not for sale, so please don't contact me about this. Best wishes, Matthew
  2. That was exactly what I was thinking of doing, actually. I'm just waiting for the next stable, or RC, as I don't want to base this on a nightly and update it, well... nightly :) I tried out N210 the other day and it wasn't too bad.
  3. Well, considering this ROM is for the ZTE Blade, not the ZTE V9 (as I presume that's what you're talking about) that might be why it doesn't work? Maybe you should check the simple facts before you profess your lack of n00bness.
  4. ^clearly provocative and a flame war. You've misunderstood me. Psyloid's ROM was built from GSF, not directly from the leak.
  5. Modaco r12 was based on a leaked beta, just like GSF is (however a much, MUCH older one since replaced by the Triple Two Project's base). Also, Psyloid's Blue Ginger R5 is using the exact same ROM base as GSF, so if you're arguing it's smoother, it's clearly just you, unless you haven't bothered to try GSF, which proves your lack of logic. Your reply wasn't completely civil and could be counted as a flame. You're spamming because I'm sure if r12 was so smooth as you seem to think it is, more people would've noticed.
  6. My answer is logical. I've used all 4 main Froyo ROMs and r12 isn't even the smoothest out of those. It might be well-expressed but it's not well researched or a good idea. It's subjective, and it WAS pointless to create a new thread. Considering you're slapping down MY reply, it's a bit hypocritical, especially as your post is completely off topic.
  7. Simple answer: it's not, you're imagining things. Please stop spamming the forum and making new threads for pointless topics.

  9. Fair enough :) Tbh I'm not really sure what the point in updating at the moment is, I personally don't see any improvements each time a new release comes out. Has anyone else seen any changes in SSF?
  10. Elitemovil (2.3.4) is really not that different to GSF. There might be a few complications with moving it over, but all you need to move is the SystemUI.apk from app and the framework-res.apk from framework. I've never used winzip to delete and add apps, I've just unzipped and rezipped the file with 7zip. I think Elitemovil (which doesn't have a lot more options) might be found on XDA. Elitemovil 2.3.5 is just CM7.
  11. Hey, it's really quite simple to repack ROMs, like changing Kernels and apps, you literally just unzip the file, delete the old stuff inside, paste the new one in the right place and rezip. Editing and recompiling the framework's a lot more complicated, and I only just learnt, so I'm sorry but I don't have the time to make a learning thread.
  12. Wbaw only posted one version of GSF b26. This is that version. You're running GSF b3, which is 23 versions out of date.
  13. ROM Update - b26: Lite version : http://www.megaupload.com/?d=P90YJ829 Full version: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=WB5Z2JF0 Tethering is fixed in this build.
  14. Many thanks for the update. I've built the new zips for b26, and I'll try and upload them tomorrow. They take a while as my upload speed is terrible!
