  1. You can also format /cache in CWM if that happens.
  2. I've tried several roms with my brothers' U8800 and 2G doesn't work with any of them.3G works perfectly.I've tried several versions of MIUI and the latest 2.3.5 rom from Huawei(which I'm currently on). When I switch to 2G the device finds all 2G networks from all providers but doesn't connect.I've only tried to connect to the provider of the sim, however. When I restart the device in 2G only mode it tells me that the selected network is not available.2G works perfectly with my other phones. Also, after a day of use with the MIUI roms the device locks itself in the Airplane mode.I cannot turn it off and to fix it I must restart the device. Then 3G works again.Don't have this problem with other roms. The device is bought from Elisa Finland but I doubt they have locked the device because 3G works.Perhaps it's Superboot causing this? It's also quite hard to get into Clockwork Recovery. With my ZTE Blades I have no issues but with the U8800 it often takes several tries from cold.Works well when using an app to boot into Clockwork Recovery though. ____________ On the other note the battery completely dies when drained fully. It won't charge.I have an external charger purchased with 3 extra LI-ON batteries from eBay and the external charger manages to revive the battery (It recharges it very slowly).I'm guessing it dies because the original battery is a LI-PO, not LI-ON, the battery is faulty or the battery stats just need to be wiped.
  3. I ran a test with CM7 RC4 and I got 8.2MB/s write speed and something 80MB/s read speed, so I ain't changing a thing.
  4. Many have called Elisa and said that a new shipment is coming in soon and you can put yourself on the waiting list.Judging by the demand and availability I'd say that the earliest shipment could arrive in the end of March. Due to having a tiny stock Elisa probably decided to make the best of it and sell the phones on contract, which is quite reasonable.
  5. Seems like Elisa pulled out the ZTE Blade and that's most likely because they don't have any to sell anymore. There are rumors that a new shipment will arrive in the end of March, but rumors are just rumors. The Blade was supposed to be available for Christmas, but that shipment was sent to Finland instead because it was launched there earlier and the waiting list was (and probably is) insanely long. That also explains why phones with the Estonian rom were distributed in Finland. In conclusion that means nobody officially sells ZTE Blade's in Estonia anymore, which is a shame. They used to cost 240€ and that was insane, but they sold like hot cakes on 2-year contracts. This used to be the link: http://www.elisa.ee/et/Eraklient/Pood/p/zte/blade The sole purpose of this post was to inform the ZTE Blade community about everything related to the device.
  6. Luckily my contract is "unlimited".Up to 1 Mbit/s and limit is higher than 100gb per month. 500mb a month sounds sucky.
  7. Browing through the Market on my phone I found these apps and couldn't believe my eyes, so I looked them up on Google and got here to ask:Do these really work or are just useless? http://www.androlib.com/android.applicatio...oost-qmpBx.aspx http://www.androlib.com/android.applicatio...hone-qCzpz.aspx If they do work, then how?
  8. Personally the only difference I see is the larger screen (by just 0.3") and that's not enough of a reason for me to upgrade.I used to have a HTC Desire with an Amoled screen (3.7") and it felt bulky in the pocket (and I got deep pockets - literally).Though, I'd upgrade to 4.0-4.3", but 3.8" is not enough to make me upgrade.Anything above 3.7-3.8" is way ouf of the mainstream size and probably won't be happening though. The Dreamer slightly resembles the Desire... ZTE must have really gotten a bargain on the MSM7227's...
  9. I wonder how much of boost the dalvik cache would give when it was on ram... Thank you for your another contribution to the ZTE Blade community, kallt_kaffe!
  10. Indeed - I think we're going to get an official Froyo rom from that device.
  11. Skyfire does work but when you're on a site with 10 videos(a blog or such) you can pretty much only see one. Gonna give it a shot. E:It works!I'd like to thank you all very much!
  12. I edited the build.prop of the rom and re-flashed with it. E: Maybe I edited the wrong line? I changed: ro.build.version.release=2.2 to: ro.build.version.release=2.1_update1 ... And it even said so in Settings > About Phone E2:Does this have anything to do with stagefright?
  13. It's safe to change it and nothing else will be affected? Edit:I did it and nothing changed.
