  1. Have you tried a different cpu governor? SmartassV2 solved this problem for me, might use more battery though.
  2. I noticed this as well, adding extra steps to the call volume range using Volume+ seemed to reduce the call volume but it might have been a placebo. Volume+ V1.9.0.1 can be found over on xda at: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=23326705 It adds the line 'ro.config.vc_call_vol_steps=[*]' to the build.prop so backup first just in case! I added 20 steps, if you try it let me know what you think. With stock ICS on my G300 the Nexus 4 seemed justifiable for the extra money, but with CM9 it doesn't. Thanks Daz!!

    Crearing some system ROM space

My phone randomly stopped booting into CWM on VOL+ during a reboot. The only way I could boot into CWM on the unrooted B934 was to power off, take the battery out and then boot holding VOL+. Could it be that yours is the same and this is why you think you have lost CWM? I don't think you can loose CWM by flashing the B934 zip, although I'm not sure about flashing an update.app to 30%.
  4. Camera fine apart from flash for me on stock B934
  5. Thanks tillaz, I much prefer a flashable zip. First impressions are that plain B934 is faster than my super charged B926. If anybody like me didn't know how to easily install superuser to get root access, I flashed the ARM zip on the website below and it worked :-). http://androidsu.com/superuser/ Remember it is best to let them ROM boot once before installing any zip over the top of it. Also used a busybox installer from Google play.

    Google Now on B934

Thanks for the heads up anything-but :) . I downloaded and flashed the zip in post #2500 of the 'The Google Now for ICS Project. [uPDATE 7/19][VOICE WORKAROUND][APK AND ZIP]' thread over on XDA and tried a few of the examples from this video: [media=] I have to say I wasn't expecting it to work as well as it does :D . After using voice search for 10 mins flat I can say I think that it works ok on the G300. One out of ten searches did cause the app to exit and every other search was punctuated by a blank screen. Seeing as it is not meant for our phone or ICS, I think it's a great :D.
  7. I think tillaz has put an a flashable zip on the first page for the exchange email, it's called stock email. I haven't tried it so correct me if I'm wrong.
  8. It's there, you just need to go to settings>time zone and scroll up to GMT :)

    02 mms settings

I always had problems setting up o2 mms (pay monthly) on my blade and at first on my g300. I recently got it working with a free app called 'Tweakker APN INTERNET MMS'. I have since used this app to get data and mms to work on a pay as you go vodaphone sim (the one I got with the g300) and my new three sim (pay monthly). I highly recommend this app as it saved manually setting up the apns and it seems to have hundreds of operators/countries. I hope it works for you too :-).
