  1. I downloaded some of the CM7 themes, but I'm not sure how I can get them working. Technically they have the necessary icons, audio, apk files and frameworks with them, but I don't know what do to them. Currently I would be happy if I could just get the basic 2.3 gingerbread ui...
  2. I used RootExplorer, turns out they were mounted, but for some reason ES File Explorer still couldn't delete them. RootExplorer on the other hand deleted them with ease. Thank you.
  3. I can't remove these: --- UpdaterSolution.apk --- SocialExt.apk --- Service-MultiSNS.apk --- GenieWidget.apk It says they can't be removed. I couldn't remount System/app (not sure how I can go into folders), but I did remount /System and it didn't work.
  4. Hmm, I will look into the CM7 things I guess. Can I combine the stock 2.3 and like Go Launcher themes? So the menus that GO doesn't change are 2.3?
  5. So I got the 2.3.5 update and the Huawei UI that comes with it. I tried all sorts of lauchers and themes, but all of them only change a couple of things. They still keep most of the Huawei UI items like the horrible looking Dialer for example. How to I change them? Most of all I would like the Ice Cream Sandwich theme, but even the stock 2.3 theme looks good. How do I change it to that? There is a 2.3 theme stickied, but I think it's meant for 2.2 Can I still use it?
  6. WLAN doesn't work and I lost my original boot.img. Not sure what to do.
  7. Hmm, I will try it. It would still like to have the original though. That page also confuses me a little. What are kitchens? Which version do I download? What is the second post about? I'm not sure how to even install custom roms yet. Definitely would like the phone back to normal state first. I mean I don't have any programs to use for installing and I can't connect to market for downloading. Edit: Okay, got done with the custom rom and now I downloaded superboot and it all works. Nice. But still, if anyone has the original then that would be greatly appreciated.
  8. I tried superboot and replaces the boot.img. But now the wifi doesn't work. I wanted to copy the oirginal boot.img back, but accidentaly messed up the windows so it ended up replacing my back-up with the superboot file. Now I'm pretty much screwed. Does every phone have the same boot.img? Do they work for all U8800 phones? Could someone please share their original with me OR let me know how I can fix the Wifi problem for the superboot file.
