  1. Probabely an error is caused (partially) by the lack of NTFS support in kernel. So, has anyone any source of the kernel (REMIX, LP)? HELIUM, LOCKED bootloader, [ROM][uNOFFICIAL][7.1.2][HYDROGEN/HELIUM]LineageOS 14.1 by nijel8
  2. As we know, Hi10plus suffers from SD card reader malfunction. And this dual boot anvironment desperatelly needs some common data space (available both: from Android and from MSwin)! Ideas to stick some micro pendrive for constant use is cumbersome (projecting pendrive is very prone to mechanical damage). Thus, I would like to propose very 'simple' solution: enabling (somehow) MSwin partition r/w access from Android! Win's partition is half empty, there is still over 20GB space for data! But how to do it? Win's partition is visible from apk like StorageSpace or DiskInfo as /dev/block/mmcblk0p14 However if you try to mount it in typical Linux way: su mkdir /data/aaa mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p14 /data/aaa it produces an error message: [email protected]_vi10plus_eu:/ # ls /dev/block/mmcblk0/dev/block/[email protected]_vi10plus_eu:/ # mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p14 /data/aaaUsage: mount [-r] [-w] [-o options] [-t type] device directory1|[email protected]_vi10plus_eu:/

Partitions on the Chuwi HI 10 Plus

Yes, indeed, the partition for MSWin10 is about 45GB, while "data" partition for Android jus 8GB! Android's "data" partition is full after installing 10 apps or more, while MSWin's one is half empty How about using some partition editing software for MSWin? For instance I've installed NIUBI Partition Editor 7.2.2 Technician Edition and it provides possibility to decrease size of MSwin partition (and move it too)! However, it needs to move the partition's beginning to the right - so how Win will boot? Will NIUBI take care of configuring bootloader? (doubt it) So how to configure it manually afterwards?
  4. The PowerRadio, FM player with RDS decoding: http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-power-radio.html http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=531600 it looks so promissing but I can not it succefully install or run on any ROMs! I tried Yonn's, Steff195's, OCK's ROMs and always got the error message like: "Failed to open FM radio hardware. Usually, this means that your device is not supported bo Power Radio / GFMAPI. ..."
  5. However it (TitaniumPremium) does not support FM PowerRadio, despite it is advertised so. How do you think, would it be the best ROM if we took Steff195's lite with SPB-shell v.3.5.5? Only don't say about SPB DRIOD, it fails every second boot, it's horrible!
  6. Hi, SRocK, does your ROM support the FM PowerRadio? I can't find any ROM on which this Radio app would work... :(
  7. Sounds like you're apologizing the Marketing Department for not throwing this solid-good piece of hardware and not buying some newest expensive rubbish... I love Omnia too despite I tried many other theoretically the best modern models - but none proved thus practical lika Omnia does :)
