  1. Does anyone know a way of fixing this yet? I'm getting it now, Windows keeps telling me my phone's not a recognised device - but I've installed USB drivers and they don't work. It's not my laptop, either - I have the same problem on every computer I connect my phone to. I have an SD card reader so it's not that big a problem, but it's just inconvenient, y'know. Help would be appreciated, thank you.
  2. I tried Links2SD again and I actually found it really helpful. I created a second partition on my SD card of about 500mb and Links2SD creates links automatically after every app I install so I don't have to worry about my phone memory.
  3. I've been having problems with int2ext+ as well. My phone doesn't connect to 3G anymore. They said, on the xda site, that if your phone has that problem, try the xperia version, but it still doesn't work for me.
  4. I tried int2ext+, it worked really well. It was actually a lot less complicated to use than a2sd.
  5. That's unfortunate :/ If I come across anything that can help, I'll get back to you.
  6. Does anyone else get really annoyed with the Crescent's internal memory? I can't download too many apps on my phone because it keeps telling me my memory's getting filled up, especially since I installed CM10. I have a 16GB memory card and I move all my apps to the memory card when I can. Does anyone know a way of working around this? It's driving me insane. Thanks.
  7. Are you sure you followed the guide through properly? One guy I came across had the same problem, and it turned out he hadn't done page four properly.
  8. This guide was so easy to follow - thank you for posting it! The only thing was (and I think it might have been a problem with my phone) when I think I bricked it. It was stuck on the Android logo after I checked to see if it could be in FTM mode. Like, I got it in FTM mode and then turned it off and took the battery out and turned it on again, but it wouldn't boot no matter how long a time I left it for. I went on with the guide anyway and had absolutely no problems, and my laptop recognised my phone, so ... I think it was just having a funny few minutes. Anyway, thanks for posting it!
  9. Oh, God. Blushing. Thanks for the reminder. Yeah, I did, but I broke it so well that I was able to go to Orange and get a replacement. I told them the phone was faulty and they ran a diagnostic and found it was. Thanks!
  10. My boyfriend and I rooted my phone a couple of weeks ago, but now I want to properly unlock it and switch networks, because Orange/EE, frankly, is doing my head in. Does anyone know how I can do this? I'm not sure whether I can use other unlocking guides or not, because they assume that the phone's still locked on Orange, when mine doesn't seem to be ... but it's not quite unlocked, either (sim cards from other networks don't seem to work on it). I don't know what we did to my phone, actually. We just rooted it and then installed CM9 and ICS (which, by the way, is fantastic). Can I follow normal guides if I want to unlock my phone? Many thanks!
  11. Thanks for all the help, guys! I ended up taking my phone to the Orange shop where I told them the phone was faulty to start off with. They sent a replacement the next day :) I really wish I thought of that sooner. Oh, and I couldn't install Linux on my laptop, so ... that didn't really work.
