  1. "It will also open up the user guide, which you should read if you’re not on a stock ROM. If, on the other hand, you are on a stock ROM, just hop back into Scriptmanager and run /data/99Supercharger.sh Once again, run it as root and this time you need to hit Boot so that it runs on boot, or it won't work properly." How do I know when this has run, as this part doesn't seem to work, i found the .sh file but it is in a diff directory, not data. gives error while running: sh: /data/v6_supercharger/!fastengibneflush.sh: No such file or directory
  2. "This ROM only "works" on the 109808 baseband" What does that mean? I have ICS 4.0.3. Can I update to this?
  3. I think I spoke too soon ........ I can;t root it anymore: install-superrecovery-windows.bat fastboot-windows.exe flash recovery recovery.superrecovery.img sending 'recovery' (5074 KB)... OKAY writing 'recovery'... FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)
  4. Thanks for any help in advance.
  5. So, my query is, if I downgrade to B892, what's the best way firstly to do that in layman's terms & then how can I further move down to the stripped down rom referred to; I do not have the IEMI backed up for vB882 stock, so cannot see how I could use the stripped down version either. Trust Huawei to make things complicated.
  6. My huawei is now working again. Thanks @animal666: http://www.modaco.com/topic/356448-oops-can-i-fix-this/ I believe that the gingerbread ROM from which I backed up my IEME was B892 (Vodafone). I am running ICS 4.0.3 again for now only I hope. It is not rooted anymore as SU is not there in the app screen anymore. I want to be able to downgrade to B982 so that I can move across to a stripped down gingerbread rom for which I found the link here on MoDaCo: http://blog.podtwo.com/android/rom/de-branded%20ROM%20for%20Huawei%20U8815%20%5Bgingerbread%5D.html
  7. Please ignore, actual thread is at: http://www.modaco.com/topic/356551-query/
  8. Trying this now without middle patch. Will report back shortly.
  9. i upgraded to huawei ics 4.0.3 found it sluggish followed the instructions to downgrade got it to a stock rom, but possibly earlier than the one I had on my phone when I first backed up the IEMI. Restored IEMI but to no luck as it would not work. I then mistakenly restored it to ICS IEMIE, now phone is stuck in a loop after having wiped itself automatically. Can I do anything to repair it, or am I stuck with an expensive paperweight? thanks.
  10. it will drop quickly on this phone as I have noticed when using. use greenpower premium with some tinkering and when not in use that will kick in and conserve battery power i can get through about 1 1/2 - 2 days depending on use with 1 charge
  11. I don;t understand this thread. Did you upgrade to ICS and are having problems?
