  3. We got my 10 year old one of these for christmas and everything was going swimmingly till he forced the power socket and broke the sloder joint. He didn't give me it till a couple of days after when the battery had run down. I have repaired and resoldered the connection, charged the battery for 12 hours and can get the hannspad to apx mode. I can rarely get the screen to light up in recovery mode too. I have been searching for hours in the forums, trying all the nvflash variations I can find and I am finally at the conclusion that the memory must be fried. This is the best I can get back from NVflash By pressing any key twice, you will start creating a backup of your tablet! . If you do not want to, then close down this command prompt window! . I don't want to waste more time if the memory is fried. Any advice would be really appreciated.
  4. I just had to join up to say thank you. I was getting a little frustrated with trying to get the last version of the ROM I was using so thought I would give this one a try. All I can say is WOW. For me, battery time has increased by a half, the apps I use most of the time are working more stably. Only thing I haven't got working yet is a video player. Being a newbie, I probably haven't got a setting right. My little girl will have to play games instead of watch peppa pig! Thank you. And if you are looking for a new rom, try this one!
