    ZTE Blade III Sim Lock

Please tell us if this trick works, I also have an Orange CH Blade 3 :)

[Recovery] ClockWorkMod for ZTE Blade III

I think the driver is corrupted (try downloading it again) or it is incompatible with win 8. If re-downloading doesn't fix the problem try on another OS ;)

Unfortunately no luck with this trick :( EDIT: I think I found the problem: my first Blade was an Orange San Francisco (aka ZTE Blade 1 SIM locked), but after installing CyanogenMod the SIM lock disappeared. I thought that even with the new Blade III (Orange ZTE 3: http://shop.orange.ch/en/blade-iii/invt/10061153) installing a new ROM could unlock the phone, but when inserting a SIM different from Orange with Aurora Borealis I'm asked to insert a Network Unlock code, so the SIM lock is still there. Maybe CM10 crashes for that reason...

Good ;) for all people having the same trouble try this: 1) Boot the phone into Android 2) Connect phone to pc with USB cable 3) An autorun should start in Windows, launch the setup 3.1) If not, check in system devices, a new device with drivers should be there 4) Retry KonstaT guide 4.1) Not working again? Try installing Prestodus drivers and refollow KonstaT guide It should work now ;)

So? You want to say I'm not an advanced user?  I only asked if someone could help me discovering where the problem is, because I've correctly installed the rom but the phone doesn't start, but with Aurora Borealis it starts correctly... So I am a noob for this? Ok all right, I'm a noob...

For the third (and hopefully last) time: yes, I HAD a Blade 1, and now I HAVE both Blade 1 AND Blade III (and I'm obviously testing this rom on the Blade III...), just look under my devices...

I think wiping data/factory reset also wipe dalvik (and .secure folders) ;) But yes, i tried also erasing it "manually" selecting the wipe dalvik cache option. This afternoon/evening i will try formatting the SD card (but i've tried without it and had the same behaviour from the OS). Complete steps I've followed just now: - Restored original ROM (totally useless, I know... But just to be sure...) - Formatted /system, /cache, /data. (no sd-ext in my SD) - Wiped data/factory reset - Wiped cache and dalvik cache - Installed CM10 (06.02.2013 release) - Installed gapps (those in the first post) But phone does not even reach the CM animation logo, thanks for the try anyway ;)

I attach 2 logcats of the boot with CM10 (taken with adb -d), it seems to be all correct, but the OS suddenly freezes and after a while reboots. One time I was able to reach the language choosing page, but when I scrolled the list the phone rebooted. First logcat (CM10 + gapps): http://pastebin.com/WG0qXBL8 Second logcat (CM10 only): http://pastebin.com/Dt1uawsT PS: every time I reflash the ROM I format /system and wipe data/factory reset. PPS: I just tried Aurora Borealis without problems. Thanks in advance for every tipe of help!

Hi KonstaT! First of all thanks for your big ROMs, I've used your CM9 and CM10 for the Blade 1 and I think they are fantastic. I just upgraded to a Blade III, but I can't use your new ROM, because it freezes during the loading (often before the CM logo is displayed, sometimes during the CM logo animation and one time during the popup "Upgrading Android ..."). I've correctly installed your CWM and checked the MD5 of both the ROM and gapps. I have also tried to format /system, /data, /cache, etc again and again (I reflashed the ROM 6-7 times) but with no results. What could I try? Thanks again! :)

[Recovery] ClockWorkMod for ZTE Blade III

Hi, I have the same problem of other guys here: i can use ADB if the phone is on and in android, but when I reboot it in bootloader, windows see an unknown device and 'adb devices' returns an empty list (so no fastboot commands possible). I followed the guide but it seems that the drivers are uncomplete in some way... I tried the second way for rooting the phone in the first post without success. Any other ideas? EDIT: tried on both win 7 64bit and win7 32bit EDIT2: if it can help someone else, it seems that installing the drivers that are on the phone solves the problems (tested on win7 64bit)
  12. Yes, I have read every single post of the discussion (also in the CM10 thread), but for example the last builds (CM10 for now, CM 10.1 when it will be completed) could be released in release mode. BTW it is only a suggestion ;) I take this opportunity to thank KonstaT, Ganster, the CM team and all the people that made JB working on our blades ;) (and sorry for the english)
  13. @KonstaT: is it possible that compiling the ROM in release mode instead of userdebug can give us some minor performance improvements?
