Yes, it is reasonable but sometimes it means registry tweakings. I don't know the reason but some Samsung applications are not deafult. Your configuration text files are easier to find and change. That's my private feelling.

For next V6.00 :

[mod] JMLContacts.exe : remove favorites contacts management

[new] JMLFavorites.exe : favorites-contacts AND favorites-programs management

See picture below :

- I use JMLPicture.exe and JMLFavorites.exe.

- Single-clic : show a contextual menu as before

- Long-clic : call the phone number per default, selected when you choose the contact, OR run the program.

Of course, it's configured in .pnx file. You can change these actions...

Now, for Long-clic, JMLToday make a vibrate to signal that is a long clic.

Do I have to choose .exe or .lnk files and the icon seperately or do you use the icon which is inside the .exe file ?

Also the long-clic vibrate function is very welcome.

How is the speed after separating favorites.exe from contacts.exe ?

i see your problem with JMLPicture :

1- You have not Bkg attribute -> I start with black background

2- At the end, I turn on transparent the black pixels : RGB(0,0,0)

3- when i draw your BGAMPMALARM.png, i draw it on black background

-> the border is not very transparent -> it became not true black : ~ RGB(26,26,24) for example

-> not turn on transparent

ATM, i can't begin a picture with a transparent background. (black per default)

I see that the problem does not exist when I use a coloured background. Anyway the problem is reported now so you can add it to your to do list. Rom was not build in one day either... :)

For the moment it´s ok because of JMLPicture I saved a lot of images in my cpr file.

I will switch back to my previous clock management (only 1 image more).

So it will be possible to add 24 contacts and 24 programs.

Yes, I have more than 24 fav contacts because of business.

I think I will part it like this: 18 contacts on 3 pages and 6 customiseable program buttons.

How about adding the LastName reg keys on page5 ?

BTW the programs folder with icons works perfectly on Storage Card.

24 shortcuts at all are enough (for me)..

I think this skin should be a fast launcher at all - not a new menu ;-) You can use the start menu or FingerFriendlyContacts if you have so many favourites :)

2 "pages" for contacts and 2 for Programs (6 each) is enough I think. For handling this launcher quick, you don't have to use more than 3 clicks to get to your action...

Keep on your work!

PS: vibration on long click is perfect - one missing point!

@ JMHL: Some suggestions for your new version: What's about playing a specific sound file after a button-click? Possible?

In my opinion 24 contacts are OK but 24 applications due to fact that start menu is not flexible are not.

I decided to stay with 18 contacts and 6 app icons by default.

Anyway you can store apps on fav tab and favs on app tab so the user can decide it.

As you can see I also added the Phone(X) reg keys. Very good idea so the user can see which number he will dial !

For release I will decrease the number of pages on fav tab to 3 = 18 favorites.

The remaining 6 icons I will place on home tab.

I had to create 16 new icons for being able to add new backlight and volume/sound feature in dinik/anastasia style...

I think release date could be the 15th of this month but not sure. Still have to do some things.

Did you sell your O2 ?

What is HVGA ? It looks like that I'm not up to date... As I know the plg resizer supports all res up to WVGA. In generell I can port the JML skin to all res...

BTW I will stay some time more with my O2 because all I need is running well.
